Gave as a gift but have feedback to share. The chair of all chairs. Super comfortable. Great reclining. Not ideal for hiking in, but will be your best car camping friend. I love you chair!

The Nemo Stargazer is sturdy and comfortable with an ingenious design, but...the velcro headrest is placed for tall folks. I’m 5'3' and my head doesn’t come anywhere near the moveable headrest. I had to add several inches of my own velcro at a lower placement. That worked for headrest adjustment, but now my hair gets caught & tangled in the original velcro. Gee, Nemo, short people have needs, too.

This is the type of equipment that I wouldn't normally purchase for myself, but I had a chance to try it out for free on a recent car-camping trip so I thought, "what the heck? let's glamp!" Pros: - The reclining feature just feels good after a day of adventuring, treat yourself! - Cupholder and snack/phone/storage/etc. pocket add a little extra luxury to chilling by the fire (though most camp chairs also have cup holders at least) Cons: - Wasn't the most comfortable -- while I did like the reclining aspect as mentioned above, the structure of the chair sort of "cocooned" me.. kind of like sitting in a hammock where all the weight slides/sags towards the middle. I think just a little extra structure in the seat area would solve this issue. - Its just a little tall. I'm 5'9", so I'm not super tall by any means, but I'm also not super short. I found that if I was in the reclined position, my feet weren't able to comfortably rest on the ground. They weren't dangling, but they also weren't firmly planted. Having the chair be a little shorter in height, or fixing up some kind of foot-rest would have solved the issue. Take-away: all in all, I think this is a really cool concept for glamping. It definitely delivers some modern comfort, while still feeling like a true camp chair. I just feel that NEMO needs to tweak a couple things to really dial it in to where it would be perfect.

It’s comfortable and definitely a glamping bonus to chill in front of a fire. However, compared to other camp chairs, it’s heavy and unwieldy. The footprint is much bigger than I’d hoped. It didn’t swing as much as I hoped either. And as a tall-ish woman (5’7”), but short-waisted, I felt a little cocooned in it trying to talk to the person next to me. I wanted to love it; I really did. It’s worthy of love. Just not from me.

The chair I received was all mesh and the mesh is really stiff and uncomfortable, with sharp edges that prick you through your clothes. I just couldn’t enjoy the other features of this chair with that mesh distracting me. I can’t imagine how many uses you would need to have before it got broken in. If this were a different fabric I would try it again, but that mesh is awful!

Wow these are comfortable. By far the most thought through camp chair I have ever been in. The reclining system actually works extremely well. I would highly recommend. Only downside. The material against bare skin can be slightly pokey at some seams.And although mesh, in the direct heat they are not super breathable. But these are small negatives to such a killer chair. Get a few! They rock!

This chair takes camping to the next comfort level. It's awesome for lounging in day or night . It might even be comfortable enough to sleep in. I was hesitant thinking that it would be annoying to set up, but set up is super simple!

This chair is so comfortable. It's extremely easy to transport which adds to it's appeal as well. Why lug around a huge regular old camp chair when you can sway with the breeze and get a full view of the stars? This chair will change the way you relax around the fire that's for sure. The kids love it as well, it's like the perfect sized hammock for a toddler. I do wish it had some sort of footrest attachment or similar so that you could really lay back but a stump works just as well.

This was a really cool chair when I got the chance to use it. It packs up small so it makes transportation really easy, and it sets up even easier. It's comfortable when reclined and it was nice to lean back and watch the stars. I actually fell asleep in it while rocking back and forth after a while.

Easy to pack down and set up, this chair is comfortable and let's you rock back and forth. The real stand out features come out at night, however. Simply lean back and comfortably gaze at the stars, fireworks, UFO's or a cloud-driven manifestation of Mufasa from the comfort of your chair.

This product is the illicit love child between a camping chair and a hammock. It is heavy, and it takes a minute to set it up but once you are situated enjoy the weightless trip. No need to strap in for where you're going, this chair will make you feel like a weightless eagle soaring over the glaciers in Alaska.

This chair is a bit much. Seriously, I love it so much that I have started using it in my living room. It has a mesh-like bottom material that is strong and durable. The mesh makes it breathable so if you are hanging out in it for long periods of time, you can just breath and veg out. I can't forget that it is also a rocking chair! I've rocked myself to sleep a couple of times in this guy. The only thing it doesn't have is a leg rest. But I guess that's what my cooler is for now.

This chair will definitely bring out your lazy side on a camping trip. After a long day of hiking or biking, coming back to this chair will feel like you're rocking on a cloud. The construction is very simple and easy to set up while remaining quite sturdy for your rocking pleasures.

This chair was a big hit on our camping trip over Memorial Day Weekend in Southern Utah. Someone was always sitting in this chair. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this chair is to set up. The carrying bag is *relatively* compact . It is about the size of what your average 4 person tent packs down to. True to it's name, this chair really shines when you're lounging back around the campfire in the evenings, looking at the night sky. I found I was most comfortable in this chair when I was able to prop my legs up on something, like our cooler. It is kind of annoying if you're wanting to sit up straight, as you always feel a little hunched forward. This chair is definitely a necessity if you're wanting to make car camping as comfortable as possible.

This packs well for how big the actual chair is but is definitely intended for car camping. Very easy to set up and you will be wanting to nap in this bad boy any chance you get. Not too high off the ground, not too low. There is a cup holder and another sleeve for your phone or chap stick/another drink. Material is perfect for summer camping very breathable you could nap in the sun if you wanted to! Put your name on this chair otherwise people will try to steal it!

This chair is great for reclining and lounging out, but wasn't my favorite chair for sitting around the fire. Super easy to set up, but if you're looking for a bougie chair to star gaze with this is the chair. if you're looking for something to just sit around the fire with I would go with another chair.

This chair is awesome! Its easy to set-up and very stable. It was the most stolen chair of the camping trip and its great for keeping the kids entertained. I do think its better suited ergonomically to taller people, but it was still very comfortable for kids and shorter adults. It feels like a cross between a hammock and a chair. Unlike other reviewers I didn't have any problems getting it back into the bag, but then again nothing is ever very easy to get back in the bag. :-)

As far as camp chairs go, this is gold. It's wider and more roomy than a normal camp chair. Spot for your carbonated beverage of choice and a little slot for you phone as well. When you lean back it stays in that position until you choose to sit forward. May or may not have fell asleep in it after a long day in the mountains. True, it's pricey and hard to get back into bag, but it's worth it. Sit back and relax and gaze at the sky from time to time. This chair will make it that much more comfortable doing so.
