After researching pants that fit curves, these are the pants I decided to go with. However, after trying these on, I’m not convinced these are good for an athletic/curvy person. I’m 5’5 and about 155lbs but I have muscular build with big legs and a small waist. After following the sizing chart, I decided to go with the Large. I wear a medium in most athletic pants but I wanted to leave room for base layers. These pants fit my legs perfect but were big on my waist. The adjustable waist is nice but I’ll still need a belt to keep these on. I ordered the color Dream State and they appear to be light pink, however the color I got is more of a dark pinkish brown so that is a bit misleading- they are still cute though

I really wanted to love these pants, but they run decidedly large. I'm 5'5/105, & the XS is falling off me. The waist is nicely adjustable & I can tighten it to fit, but then the hips pouch out & look like I have a bad case of sideways bloat. 4 stars for construction, just not sizing. The pink is a nice dusty rose color that would look great with a black parka. And no, no one sees the hips under the parka when you're skiing. But we will eventually all be back in lodge without them, we hope!

I love the color of the Dry Rose, orderred a small, per the size charts. It ran very large. I had to return the item.

I purchased this after reading some online forums about where to find ski pants for curvy girls. Disappointed in these pants and will be returning them. Really love the multi-pop camo design too, such a shame. Despite the optimism of the size chart having a decent 10" difference between waist and hip measurement, it's not adequate. I cinched the adjustable waist down as far as I could but the waist is still too big and because there's not enough center back length it falls down below my crack when I bend my knees. The thigh region is almost roomy enough. Apparently, you can either have a butt or thighs to fit in these, but you can't have both. Since I have both, I don't get ski clothes.

I am 145lbs, 5 ft 5 inches tall and have an athletic build and found these to be too tight in the thighs, but big in the waist so I returned them. This has been a common theme with the last few pairs of ski pants I have tried, so it must be what is in style.

So when I first put them on I thought, "Oh man, the waist is too big!" but then I remembered, it's an adjustable waist. As soon as I velcroed it tighter, perfect fit. The pants feel very soft, nice material. The fit is a little big, maybe I could have gone down to an X-small, but I don't like a tight feeling, especially when I'm out skiing and being active. The pants need to move with me, and these do. I bought a blue pair, and I have to say I love this blue color. More character than navy, but go-with-everything like a denim blue. Overall I'm happy with these warm stylish pants!

I don't have a build that's suited for outdoor clothing brands--I'm tall, but I have bigger thighs and butt and a smaller waist. The medium fit ok in the waist but the butt was a little tight so I ended up buying a large for less restricted movement and belting them. I seriously tried on at least 15 pairs of snow pants and these were far superior fit and quality than any of the others in the same price range. As far as performance, they kept me warm and dry in 15 degree temps.

I read a lot of reviews before ordering and I’m glad I did. I typically wear a large. I’m 5’8 and 160 lbs. I have a straight build. The M fit me perfectly and feel very comfortable. We will have to see how they perform on the slopes! They are pretty simple pants. I do wish they had a few more pockets like the Refuge pant. I also ordered that style and they were too big in the hip area on me. Maybe better for a curvier build.

I'm an athletic girl with larger thighs and these did fit me well, however, the bottoms (from the knee down) were really flared and overall the pants were a bit shorter than I would have liked. While the pants are well insulated, the material is light and this made the flaring even worse as the pants didn't "hang" well. Anyway, not my style, but they did fit.

It was too tight on the thighs, but it seemed like a great product! The fabric was good, and it has the most insulation (which is why I really wanted to get them) of all the ski pants I could find on Backcountry. Too bad!

These pants fit perfectly and kept me warm and dry in Winter Park, CO in December. The velcro adjustment inside the waist band allows you to adjust for different body types. I'm 5'6", 142 lbs. with slim body type. I usually wear small and the small was just right. BTW, they looked good too! Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend!

Fits great but I have one complaint. The elastic gator is so tight it is hard to get over my boot and foot warmer battery.

If you're stuck on picking a size, I went with the medium having a tall and lean figure. I need to belt the waist, but it is long enough for someone 5'8" and I can add bulky layers underneath still. I decided I'd rather have the length and option to layer than a slimmer fit.

I got these for my daughter and she loved them. She has used them in the cold and heavy snow (practically rain) and they kept her warm and dry. She is 12 years old and the XS fit perfectly. They can adjust on the waist so that she will fit into them next year as well which is a real bonus!

This is a nice pair of snow pants, nothing too fancy, but will at least make it around my curves and sit on my hips. I am 5'7", 135 lbs, with hips. A comparison was the Obermeyer Clio softshell snow pants, size 8, snazzy-stylish, great fit!!, smooth fabric, but was more expensive ($180 - $200), and just a little "too nice". So I opted for these. I cannot attest to the warmth, I haven't taken them out to the mountain yet.

I am 5'8" with muscular thighs, the pants fit great & were still flattering (size M). The color is much darker in real life than it appears online. The purple is more of a "wine" and the green is a dark turquoise. 5 for fit, 4 for color

For size reference I am 5'2" - 123 pds, 30" waist, 38" hips. LOVED the Grapefruit color and style of these pants. Quite slimming and attractive, yet functional. Good quality material. Ordered size S and M. Size small fit with no base layer but was too tight with thin base layer and could not tuck shirt in. Also length was 2 inches too long.. Size M was way too big and baggy. The interior waist adjustment should be on exterior. Since the velco hook and loop are on the inside, they catch and snag any base layer or top that you tuck in.
