A jacket with a little protection can go a long way—especially in milder conditions and when endowed with windproof and water-resistant fabrics. Built to keep you comfortable on crisp spring mornings and as temperatures rise on late autumnal days, the Mille GT Spring Fall Jacket from Assos has you covered when conditions are fickle. Built with a form fit, it's aerodynamic enough to keep you spinning quickly on the group rides and fit snugly under a rain shell while still offering enough room over baselayers and thermal jerseys.

Assos' proprietary NEOS 7 fabric is key to the Mille GT Jacket's versatility. It's a 2.5-layer softshell with a weather-blocking membrane on the upper front panel. Despite that protective face, it's highly breathable, making it ideal for ever-changing conditions while keeping your core warm. Slightly further down is its RX brushed fabric that helps wick moisture and increase breathability while its stretchy, circular knit Type.157 Stripe Tex—a material we see on Assos' summer jerseys—is employed at the back and under the arms of the Raglan sleeves for maximum ventilation. At the openings, stretchy cuffs keep heat in and fit easily under gloves. And, if that jacket's materials don't provide enough breathability, the full-length camLock zipper lets you easily adjust the amount of airflow that can enter.

At the rear, Assos uses its Triple ramp pockets to provide ample space for hauling snacks, tubes, and extra layers, while a fabric lid at the top prevents items from getting ejected over rough roads. Under those pockets is a 2W waistWave construction offering a clean look and ergonomic lines. Lastly, reflective print on the pockets help increase your visibility to other road users.

Maybe just me, but I could not find a size that fit me well. Arms too tight while torso too loose. Seems more like a jersey than a jacket to wear over other layers.

So as others have said, I layer with this jacket. Temps from 45-50, I use a thermal base layer. 50-53 I can use a long sleeve base layer like a Gore wind stopper material in long sleeve. 53-59ish I will use a short sleeve with wind stopper and anything above just a jersey. Love it and would buy it again.

Great jacket for layering. Wear a summer base layer and this jacket when the temperatures reach 60 and a winter base layer and jacket when the temps fall into the 40s. The 3 pockets in the rear are like a jersey and I recommend a wind vest if you are descending. Not much wind blocker material in this jacket. I enjoy this jacket and you should buy it!
