The Yeti Hopper Flip 12 may be small, but it maintains the robust durability and legendary ice-retaining capabilities of a proper Yeti cooler. Being the most compact option in the Hopper line, the Flip 12 is ideal for days on the river, afternoons at the crag, and evenings spent enjoying the sunset from a secluded vantage point with an ice-cold beverage in hand. Like other coolers in the Hopper line, this cooler is constructed with Yeti's tough-as-nails DryHide shell and water-tight HydroLok zipper. The cubed shape is easy to haul and packs away in the back of a car or truck easily. A padded strap makes shouldering this compact cooler a whole lot easier, and the dual accessory loops allow Yeti's Sidekick accessory pouch or Molle bottle opener to be attached to the front of the cooler.

We spent a few days in the desert and it was great to have a few cold beverages. The packability/size was great for 8 drinks and a few other perishable food items, but we used a larger cooler for the big stuff. I would highly recommend!

The Hopper 12 is one of the most versatile sizes and options for my lifestyle. This mighty little cooler is great for food for a quick weekend camping trip, light enough to carry for a picnic, or maybe just as your beverage cooler. So much easier to haul around than my Hopper 35 and perfect for the solo camper.

I took this for a 1 night camping trip in Moab. With it being a soft cooler, obviously it's not going to keep ice as long as a hard cooler. My main complaint is how difficult the zipper is the open and close. I think I'd rather pay more for a hard cooler that will keep ice cold even longer and that has a lid to easily pop open and close. Not a bad cooler, but I wouldn't use this one again.

I used this cooler every day for about a week. It was perfect for keeping the drinks cold and the sandwiches fresh. The zipper could have used a bit of the lubricant and help the stiffness in the zipper.

I left this thing in a car baking in the summer sun for 5 hours and the contents were still frosty cold when I got back. Love it.

We bought this cooler camping with us over a multi-day car camping trip in Southern Utah. I kind of threw this in the car last minute, not really thinking we'd use it. However, this cooler got the most use out of anything we brought! We would drive to different trail heads every day to hike, and we used this cooler to for our lunch and beer. It is relatively lightweight. We hiked down to a little river one day, and I carried this cooler in no problem. The zipper takes some getting used to, as you have to pull harder than with other zippers. The flip top provides easy access to everything inside. In true Yeti fashion, this cooler keeps your food cold for days! I highly recommend this cooler for day trips.

Took this bad boy to California and it was perfect for the beach. The ice stays frozen all day and kept my drinks chilled. It isn't too big, so it fits easily in the car. I like that it is a soft cooler because it isn't too heavy and easy to carry.

It really is the perfect size for a day trip. Take it on a hike, leave it in the car while you're on a bike ride, take it to the park, the possibilities are endless. Comfortably fits 12 cans and keeps them cold for days. The flip top makes grabbing a cold one a breeze. Can't recommend it enough!

Bought this as a gift for my MIL. She loves to sail, so this is a perfect cooler to throw a few drinks in. My only complaint is that the zipper is very rigid and can be hard to unzip and zip. We're hoping it gets easier with time.

This is a great cooler. I just used it for the first time and it kept my stuff cold for 2 nights. It's amazing how much you can fit in this little thing. It's easy to transport and has classic yeti construction. I pair it with one of the yeti cooler bricks and that really helps keep the ice and food/beer cold!

Yeti did it again folks. I've been able to pack all the essentials for a day on the beach, and brought it multiple times to the pool. Just as all the other Yeti coolers, everything stays cold and you end up with ice in the bottom at the end of your afternoon out in the heat. Being one of the smaller versions, it is very portable. I recommend this cooler to anyone and everyone!!

Us kids got mom this for mothers day and she is stoked. Now when she heads out for an afternoon at the beach or even at the pool, she can throw whatever she needs in the flip for herself and my dad.

I love this thing. I use it every day. I pack my lunches around in it every day, and use it for beverages, food, snacks, etc when I'm out and about at nights or on the weekends. The zipper is such hi quality and the drain hole is ingenious. It keeps ice for hours and hours and is is head above any alternative option.

Definitely a little small for a cooler, but for easy day use on a hot day, not much can compare with this on the go freezer.

I recently bought the Yeti Hopper Flip 12 for travel. I do a lot of driving that is mostly day trips and I wanted something that could fit a days worth of meals/snacks and some drinks and still fit in between seats. The Flip12 is the perfect size. When filled with ice everything stays cold all day. I even bought a few 2 lb yeti ice packs that work very well supplement the ice (I tried them alone without ice and they did not seem to keep things cold enough). I place them in the middle of the cooler with drinks on either side. By the end of the day the ice is typically frozen between the ice packs. The cooler is durable and lightweight. I appreciate the handles on the top and sides which make grabbing it from any direction easy. The only downside I have is that the zipper is very stiff. I realize this is what makes the cooler durable, leakproof, and efficient, but it is a downside compared to my old cooler. Hopefully it will work in over time. However, I find if properly filled with ice I can leave the top unzipped while driving and seal it up when I am out of the truck.

After doing some research, i decided to snag this hopper for my brother. He does tile and remodeling so he needed something that was durable, easy to carry, and most importantly.. could keep all his stuff cold. I went with the green color so it didn't stand out as much on the job sites, and he loves it. He has enough room to pack a full lunch and snacks for the day, along with some cold ones for when he needs to warm up ha. The webbing comes in handy also, he will use it to hold a bottle opener or a couple small, extra tools. he can also run a lock through it so he doesn't have to worry about someone stealing it out of his truck or anything. I highly recommend snagging one for yourself or someone else, they will be PUMPED.

I mostly keep this in the car on fishing and camping trips but have on occasion packed it in without any trouble. It's easy to carry and keeps drinks (and fish) cold much longer than traditional coolers. Great price point for such a powerful little cooler!

I have both the yeti hopper 12 and the hard yeti 35. I find so many uses for the lighter soft sides cooler. It keeps food cold, not to heavy and looks great. I've kept food and beer cold for 48 hours with minimal ice in 90+ degrees days or drinks colder than the fridge before a BBQ. The price is high, but is a quality product I will have for a long time and use more than those 25 dollar coolers that never keep food cold more than an hour or 2.

In my opinion, this cooler is totally worth the money (I know that says a lot). It keeps things cool and insulated and it actually works great hung from the back of a stroller. We love using the yeti ice for food in the cooler, but prefer regular ice when trying to keep drinks cool. It's also perfect for the car on road trips.
