The Yeti Daytrip is a solid, well-made lunch bag. I've used it several times. I keep the Yeti in the fridge overnight and use an icepack when I load it at 8:00 am. Under those conditions, my lunch is nice and cold at 1:00 pm. The bag seems to be durable and high-quality. Many of the reviews claim that this bag does not perform very well. I think people need to manage their expectations. If you are expecting the performance of one of Yeti's dedicated soft coolers, like the Hopper, you won't get that out of this product. But you will get quite possibly get the best made, best performing lunch sack you've ever used. If you need more space, or better cooling performance, buy a Hopper. If you need a solid lunch bag that will keep your salad or sandwich cold for half a day or more, this product does the trick nicely. As with most things Yeti, the question comes down to cost. Is it worth $80? Only you can decide that. But the quality is high for its purpose.
