Keep your mini bundled and comfortable in the Mountain View Hooded Triclimate Jacket by The North Face. This 3-in-1 jacket is perfect for taking it slow on the bunny hill, sledding with friends at the neighborhood park, and staying warm through spring thanks to its combination of waterproof shell and integrated fleece liner. Its two-layer DryVent shell material is fully sealed to ensure they stay dry as they make snow angles in the yard or lap the sledding hill. And to keep the snow out, this jacket is equipped with a zip-in integration system (compatible with The North Face's complementing garments), hook-and-loop cuffs, and adjustable drawcord hem. Before the snow falls, and after it melts, they can wear the cozy internal fleece on its own for a comfortable warmth.

My 7 yr old has had this jacket for less than 2 weeks. There is a already a small tear in the hood, and the plastic zipper is ‘bent’ for a lack of a better word. There is no fabric caught in it. The teeth have just bent (see attached photo), so now I can’t unzip the fleece lining from it. Besides these two issues, I expected it to be warmer. Both the fleece zip out and the jacket are thin. Not ideal for frigid winter weather. I’m disappointed as this is not the usual NF quality. Out family has several NF coats/jackets, and we’ve never been disappointed until now.

Picked up this jacket for my sister and she loves it. Inner fleece can be worn on it's own or in conjunction with the shell for added weather protection. Conversely the shell can double as a standalone rain/wind jacket or be paired with the fleece for added warmth. Great do-it-all jacket for all seasons. Perfect way to double down and get one jacket for all of your girl's needs. Fits true to size.

My daughter is 8, typically wears about a size 8/10. She's thin but very tall. I ordered the large for her. It's definitely roomy but doesn't look too big where it looks funny. There is enough room that she will wear this coat for at least 2 if not 3 winters in Michigan. The turquoise color is great, she loves it! Easy to separate the 2 coats to wear separately or together. Keeps her warm playing outside in Michigan winters.

We got the Pink and Purple option and my little girl loves it. Seems to be very warm and fits her well. Great quality as always from North Face.

I bought this jacket to replace an older version of a similar jacket my daughter had outgrown. The windproof and waterproof exterior keeps her dry when skiing and out playing in the elements, and the inner fleece (removable) jacket adds the layer of warmth she needs on the really cold days. Velcro around the sleeves allows for adjustment around her gloves to keep the cold and snow out. Long waist length protects from drafts stealing your warmth. Overall a good price and quality for a kids jacket.
