This is a great year around jacket for the Pacific NW. It keeps me warm and dry and fits like a glove while still allowing movement. If I could only own one coat here this one fits the bill.

This is my first North Face product and now know it’s a great product This coat replaced another brand that has the same trifecta type features and it blows it away. Warm and comfortable. Worth every cent. Backcountry is as great as their merchandise, I scored a $60 discount and had it in 2 days. Go for it. Btw- I’m 6-1” skinny with long arms and it fits well.

I was looking for a warm winter coat that didn't look or feel to "bulky." I have a Carhardt, which is warm and fine for snowy, sleety weather...but it's just too damn heavy and stiff feeling for comfortable wear. This coat, though, is ideal. Keeps me warm, stylish enough looking and very comfortable. One point on sizing: I initially bought a Medium, which was fine in upper body, but a bit snug in the waist and hips. Exchanged for a Large, which fits me perfectly. Highly recommend this coat, and thanks to Hannah for all her wonderful and patient help!

I gave this to my boyfriend as an early Christmas gift and this is what he had to say about it: This is a great anytime jacket. When it is put together it is very warm and waterproof. I love being able to take it apart. The inner layer is very comfy and fits perfectly. The outer layer is a perfect rain shell for spring/fall. The whole jacket fits true to size and is the perfect length. It is insulated well and can be worn in all seasons.
