The Smith Pivlock Over-Drive Chromapop Sunglasses are designed to take your game to the next level, providing premium optical clarity and adaptive protection, so you're able to focus on the task at hand, rather than your shades. The most important part about the shades is their Chromapop lens technology which intuitively adapts to terrain at hand, enhances color contrast, reduces glare, and protects your eyes from the sun's harmful rays (to put it plainly).

Additionally, the Over-Drive is equipped with interchangable lenses and two-way adjustable nose pads which provide you with a custom-like fit, meaning you're able to adapt to bright light or flat alike. And since you'll most likely be outside, slathering on sunscreen won't prohibit your shades from performing: the hydroleophobic coating on the lenses resists water and grime build-up so you can see clearly for miles ahead. And, not to mention, the hydrophilic nose and temple pads actually grip a little more securely when you start to sweat.

These glasses were a roll of the dice for me. My other lenses were in solid condition (3x interchangeable), but my sunny day set was taking the brunt of the beating. Found these babies here at a GREAT price and went with it. It was the colors that really worked for me as I am always n red/black/white when I'm on my rig. They fit snugly, and I wouldn't recommend them for a rider that has a larger head and/or a lot of hair. I shave my hair off so they work for me, but the size is a definite point of consideration if these are on your radar. ChromaPop is amazing!!! I throw on the lenses and roll out the door. They transition to the lenses I need for that day. When out on a bike, I feel that the less 'things' I have to think/worry about, the more likely I will be able to enjoy the ride.

Overall these are great sunglasses. I use them for MTB and Road. I'm an Environmental Scientist and I use them for work as well. No complaints with the quality of lenses or the fit. That being said the rubber on the ear pieces is glued on and has stopped working. I've had to pull the rubber pieces off because they just slide around. Additionally the logo on each side of the ear pieces are just held on by two little pegs. These have fallen off while in motion without my knowledge. Still wear them all the time but they look a little tore up without the rubber pieces and logo. would prefer the rubber ear pieces and logos to be constructed in a different manner.

These are a sweet pair of shades. The view through the Chroma Pop lenses is just crystal clear, and they really cut the glare. The styling is definitely all sport, so they will be my road riding and running glasses of choice. The one weird thing is that the case is super jumbo, like goggle sized. It's so large I wouldn't even carry in the console in my Suburban, it just takes up too much room. It does some with a nice soft case, but a usable zippered case would be preferable.

Like most of us know, you cannot go wrong with a pair of Smith sunglasses. These fit a medium face well and look super fly! :) Comfortable, easy lens change out..and light yet durable!
