First time trial of chews. The raspberry is delicious and doesn't upset the stomach when out for the day. Usually do gel shots, but the chews are less messy and can be more evenly dosed throughout a ride. I have used Scratch Lab hydration for years because it's clean and doesn't cause that distended feeling. Will try caffeinated cherry flavor next time.

These taste awesome and are easy on the stomach. However, the packaging is hard to open in a race or fast group ride. Also, if it is hot out they melt together into a ball and are hard to get out of package. Will probably save these for cooler day solo rides.

These are so good and a quick and easy way to get quick calories. Much easier to put down than some of the other ones which are over-chewy or to gummy.

If you're looking for a simple snack to keep you going on your runs without upsetting your stomach, this is it. Veg's take note that nothing in here will upset you! I use these in all my triathlons and have found them most useful when I don't have access to my Skratch Hydration Mix. If you haven't tried them because you've had trouble with chews in the past, suck it up and give em a go.

I can't use gels when I run and I've tried every kind of energy chew or "block" on the market and none compare to these. I love the Skratch Energy Chews! They are just the right size and more importantly they dissolve quickly. Unlike other brands where you have to chew and chew and chew and they don't seem to dissolve these after a couple of chews dissolve nicely. I use these when running half marathons and they are great. They are nicely coated in a light sour-sugar sand which is not bad if you're burning a ton of calories or energy and after a few minutes you can feel the energy kick. If you're frustrated trying to find a good energy chew, try these, they will not disappoint.
