I love the brand Simms. When I bought my first shirt, made specifically for women, I was not let down. Yes, this shirt is perfect for fishing - but I also love it for many other outdoor activities where I want to be covered from the sun and bugs. The shirt's material is downright magical- it feels like nothing against the skin which allows me to comfortably wear long sleeves even when it's hot out. I bought the shirt in white, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sheerness of the material. I was expecting it to be super sheer and see-through because it's so light weight, but this is not the case... you can't really see through the shirt at all. This shirt is also very easy to keep bright and clean. I was fishing in this top and got some fish blood all down the front of me. As I was on a trip, I couldn't wash the shirt for several days. Once I got back, it only took a splash of bleach and one cycle in the wash to have it looking brand new with no trace of the blood spatter. I highly recommend this shirt to any women seeking a versatile lightweight long-sleeve top for fishing, hiking, paddling, camping, etc.
