Perfect for the SIMMs Taco or larger gear bag. This is exactly what's needed to help prevent pinholes when changing in and out of your waders. Not an expensive piece of kit, but an essential one.

This is a perfect complement to the Simms Taco Bag to carry your wader boots. No more hopping on one foot to get your boots on and off once you are in your waders. This changing mat rolls up with a velcro strap and is ideal for leaving in your car or in a gear bag for changing into and out of your boots. The Taco Bag is great, but it is missing the extra layer to protect your wader booties from sharp rocks and/or glass. Definitely a worthwhile and simple product. Worth getting if you do not already use something like car floor mats or some other pad like a yoga mat.

The only hole I've ever gotten in my waders is a little pinhole in one of the booties... I can only imagine that it is from changing in the parking lot and planting that delicate little neoprene bootie on the gravel. This mat is nice and thick and will prevent anything like that from happening... or so I speculate. Rolls up real nice and compact so you can fit it just about anywhere. Roll it out, pop off the boots, hop on there and you're good to go. Matthew Pizza Gearhead, Customer Account Manager 801.736.5363 mpizza@backcountry.com
