When the temperatures dip, we turn to wool socks to keep riding year round. With its natural moisture-wicking and funk-resistant properties, wool is the perfect material for baselayers and socks alike. Shimano's Wool Sock has a higher cuff to insulate better under, as well as thicker fabric over the toes, where the vents in shoes tend to chill too quickly. A cushioned instep ensures a comfortable fit between shoe and sock, so your feet stay warm and content the whole ride.

These seemed to fit okay, but I could see my ankles through the material and it was stretched fairly tight. Figured it would either tear soon or not provide any warmth. I got a large and I wear a 10.5 or 11 shoe.

I am size 10.5 to 11 and large fits good. Rode mtb in upper 40 to low 50 and they keep warmth in and keep dry. they do not feel real thick which is nice but keep feet a good temp, not to cold and not too warm. So comfortable and soft to just wear around the house too.

These kept my toes toasty in my sidis when the temps dropped into the 40's. My shoe size is 9.5 and the M works for me.
