Sea To Summit used waterproof breathable eVent material to make the first waterproof compression bag without a valve—the eVent Compression Dry Sack. Close this Sea To Summit compression sack, and the breathable material vents air as you cinch the compression straps. No more soaked sleeping bag after a rainy day, and no more valve poking you in the back as you hike.

I used this product to compress my zero degree sleeping bag down to a manageable size for backpacking Glacier National Park. It worked great and was very sturdy, it even doubled as a place to sit in camp!

Picked up two of the smalls (10L) for my tent (2p 3s) and sleeping bag/pillow. Easy to pack and compress. Keeps the items inside dry when it's wet outside. Practical and worth their weight.

We love these bags and have several that we use for everything from kayaking and canoeing, backpacking, going to the beach. They compress really well and stand up to a lot of wear.

These things are fantastic! The eVent material makes it super easy to compress down as much as possible and is completely waterproof. Keep that expensive down sleeping bag you bought dry! I bought the M/14L and I can fit my 20 degree down bag and my 2 person MSR Hubba Hubba with the rainfly in one waterproof pacakage!

This is the best sleeping bag compression sack I've ever owned. It's waterproof (not submergible), compresses down really well, and air can get out! I stick my sleeping bag and pillow in it, and I have enough room to toss a puffy in too, if I needed to! I have the Marmot Phase 30 sleeping bag, and I bought the Small (10L) sack.

I have had one of these now for about 10+ years. It is so magical fits lot and has traveled the world, I am not sure what I would do without this magical compression bag.

Just like everyone else, I use these to protect my sleeping bag in the rainy backpacking season. It does the job well. I own one in every size now, they are dependable and easy to use. My 0 degree bag fits in the medium perfectly, the small holds my summer bag, my wifes -20 fits inside the large very well. just wish they made them in different diameters across the same sizes.

I have this compression bag in two sizes. It has done wonders for keeping my related items together and extra compressed while backpacking or bikepacking. I haven't tested the waterproof capabilities, as my panniers are waterproof and I have a rain cover for my backpack. All the same, the waterproof aspect does give me some extra peace of mind when using the compression sacks! It has even rendered some of my more outdated gear (hello 90s Kelty sleeping bag) into things I can easily bring on my adventures. I managed to stuff that bulky synthetic bag into one of these and turn it into a size my panniers could manage!

This is undoubtedly apriceless waterproof compression sack. It. kept my down sleeping bag dry in a snowstorm on a six mile hike to camp on the outside of my pack. In return it made me very happy and cozy on those cold nights.

I use this bag for traveling so I can overpack clothes and get everything into one bag. It compresses like a magic trick and even with the lightweight material and nylon straps, it really holds up to abuse. The bag itself is so light that it doesn’t effect the 50lb limit per checked bag challenge. As a life long over-packer that means a lot!

I bought this the replace the stuff sack that came with my sleeping bag. It effectively shrunk the size of my packed sleeping bag in half! Great for backpacking, the compression straps work great and it is water proof which came in handy on the multitude of float trips we took on the Green River this summer. Just a note, you shouldnt store your sleeping bag in this type of bag while you are not using it on a trip because it will reduce loft if kept in it all the time. It is also a water proof membrane type fabric so is still pretty light weight vs a typical rubber dry bag.

picked up a medium for sleeping bag and a large for clothes on 1st bikepacking trip. the compression is incredible and easiest i've ever used. luckily didn't need to worry about the waterproof but a pre-ride test was no issue for the bags. fit perfect in the touring panniers and tucks nicely behind my seat in the kayak!

This dry sack is awesome. It's not to big and it easy to pack but it's awesome for floating rivers and camping and such!

The medium is great for my down sleeping bag, sleeping pad and one down puffy jacket. They all fit into the bag and compress down to a respectable size for packing. The small works great for my personal clothing, book and toiletries while Canoeing, I did not have any issues keeping my clothes dry on a 6 day trip with lots of rain. One thing I wish was possible is that you could take off the compression portion so that it could just be a dry bag, it would be very versatile.

I purchased the 14L for backpacking and have absolutely zero complaints about this compression sack. The eVent material is lightweight, durable, and keeps my stuff dry. I can comfortably fit a Mountain Hardwear Ratio down sleeping bag with a little extra room in the 14 L size, and it compresses nicely for space savings in my pack.

I used this bag while floating the San Juan a few weeks ago and had incident where the bag went overboard and floated/submerged for about a minute. After opening it up that night it was still perfectly dry.
