After you tire out that big old rainbow, bring your catch into the boat with the Rising Lunker net. Its long handle makes scooping up feisty fish relatively easy, and its deep-set rubber net is easy on trout's sensitive slime coating, ensuring a safe release.

This is by far the coolest and best net i've ever used! Fits 30 inch fish with room to spare!

I bought this net based on the reviews - hoping this would be something I could use as an all-around net, however it's clear to me that it's ideally aimed at boat and guide use. I put all my gear together at home and I tried so many ways to make the Lunker 24 work with my sling pack, but ultimately it was just too big for general use (unless maybe you're targeting species larger than rainbow and brown trout). I'm going to look into something smaller, like Brookie 10", or maybe another brand. I can't speak to the "can be used as a wading staff" claim, other than the net is long - 45 inches, or about chest-high. I suppose that could be helpful. Pros: - Great quality - Made in the USA - Can be disassembled for traveling (eg, fit in a suitcase) - Rubber basket Cons: - The long handle, while very good for reach, would bump up against my calves - It's a bit too big/heavy to be suspended using a net magnet. - It doesn't quite fit well between my sling pack and my back - it made pulling it out too hard What I would use it for (neither apply to me): - Boat use - you need the extra reach - Guiding - you'll have hands free to fiddle with getting it out, or at least carrying it If you really need the long handle (eg for a boat) and you regularly catch fish bigger than trout, this net is for you. If you just need something to fish with, you might be happier with something a wee bit smaller like the Brookie models, or possibly

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. It has a long enough handle you can net fish from your seat. Can't wait to take it out on the boat this summer.

Larger net but still easy to carry, perfect for a boat or guiding. Great local company to support and who wouldn't want a net that you can store whiskey in for cold days on the river!

Love my Lunker.. I use it when fishing from a drift boat and the extra long handle gets out there and lands fish...

One of my least favorite trends in fly fishing is seeing a herd a buff clad anglers marching off to their favorite thingamabobber flogging spots with nets big enough for catching Tuna. However I have to admit having a big net can be really nice and makes it easy to work with fish in a safe manner. After losing my last net( I seem to do this once or twice a year), I broke down and bought this. It's huge and orange and hard for me to leave on the bank. It also is USA made and very high quality. The dry storage makes for a nice surprise when the fishing is good or bad. Overall i'm really stoked on this product and look forward to having it for a long time.

Built right down the fill from our office and made to last. This is an awesome net for reaching out and snatching that hard to net fish. Easy to carry all day and enough sizes to satisfy all anglers.

This made in UT USA net is highly durable and reliable! and after a fight with a toad grip, grin, release and then pop the end and take a pull of your favorite whiskey, or tea or cider if your into that.

Great rubber in the net material, flexible and strong. Perfect size, big enough to guide with yet small enough to not be over kill on little wild brookies. Best part is the "Gasket sealed end-cap" is a flask!!! Fun game: Catch a fish, take a shot. Lose a fish, take a shot. Drink and fish responsibly, Use a rising net.
