When you want to get your rig far out into the water and watch it drop just a few feet below the surface, the RIO 4D InTouch Big Nasty Sink Tip is the line you need. Its powerful, weight-forward taper loads your rod and easily turns over large flies even in windy conditions. The ConnectCore resists stretching and has very little memory, so it responds to the slightest movements immediately. Multi-Density Control technology uses three different density coatings to provide excellent depth control to the angler, while Extreme Slickness minimizes friction to ensure the line flows through the guides smoothly.

I purchased this for my 8wt Scott for throwing large streamers on rivers. I have not had a chance to use at this time but feel if it is as good as other Rio products I should have no problems.

This line punches well above its weight class. It picks up and turns over large, beefy streamers with ease. When it is time to reposition the fly in a hurry, this fly line does the trick. It loads like a switch line, but still lays down soft when you are targeting trout in shallow water. The front loaded taper allows for quick roll casts, snap-T’s and double speys when your back is against the wall. If you want to throw large streamers in a variety of environments, this is the line.

This line casts streamers so well! I've been using my floating line to cast streamers and finally got a separate reel to use specifically for streamer line. The taper sink line makes it so you can fish shallows without it snagging on the bottom.
