I'm 5'5 116lbs, 25" waist, short waisted, long legs, slim in the waist, hips and butt. I ordered the small which was just hanging on me. Although the shorts can be tightened with the waist cord, it resulted in bunching in the front. Not for me. The shorts are super lightweight, well made and came about mid thigh. Girls who are more curvy would like great in these.

From Wife: These were a go to item when on our honeymoon. They were great for excursions that needed shorts, but also required a swimsuit. I could wear these all days. They are long enough so my legs don't rub, but they are not as long to cover all the way to the knee! Looking into getting another pair for the summer!

? pleased with these! Great stretch, perfect length for an athletic adventure, and fabric feels great! Due to the Velcro, I’d suggest washing separately from delicate items. Sometimes Prana sizing can vary but this one is spot on! (I like my clothes slightly loose).

Comfortable fabric, secure closure, nice fit, good length. For me, these were true to size. Solid choice.

These board shorts are great.. I would say the large for like a size 30. They’re a great length.. not too long, not too short. The only downfall is that the Velcro isn’t the strongest and will occasionally pop open.. it helps that they have a tie to keep them closed. They dry quickly and the patterns are really cute.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Patagonia Baggies I was using as boardshorts. They were too short and super tight on my legs, which made them uncomfortable for long days out in the water. I have a Prana swimsuit and I was kicking myself for not keeping with Prana on the boardshorts. I love the fit and color of these (I got the Cargo Green color) They are super soft and stretch in the hips and legs (super helpful if you are a little curvy) and my favorite part is that they come down further on the legs to give you more coverage. I love to SUP and after hours in the sun my legs take a beating so its nice to have a short that can protect my skin. Stick to Prana!!

Prana shorts rarely disappoint. I am confused by some of the fit comments in previous reviews. I am typically size 8, and the medium is perfect. They might run big for people with small butts and small hips.

These are easy to wear. Very light and cool in the Summer heat! I love the color choices and the feel!

Finally, board shorts that are long enough and large enough for ladies with a bigger booty. Just because I'm a mom doesn't mean I'm ready to look like a slob. These shorts are flattering and stylish, all while being modest enough to cover my not so toned post kids hips, buns, and thighs. They worked great for a day at the beach and paddling the lake with my kids.

I got these for my girlfriend who went to Costa Rica for a few weeks. She was really stoked when she got them because of how soft and stretchy the fabric felt. It dries quickly and is really light. I'd recommend these to anyone who is looking for cute board shorts for the beach or a SUP.

I forgot Prana runs BIG BaBoom. Gotta eat more. The shorts are awesome for the price, just what I was hoping for. I am short and the shorts are not a nice midi for someone of my stature. I am going to keep em even if they are BIG but I am thinking I will look more rock and roll with them sagging off of my hips. I hope they dont come down midst action. Suspenders will help. But really, these shorts are a great length and I like the Fabric super-soft and the color is electric. I purchased the Purp. and me likey a lot:) Ps. I have only tried these on so far.
