great skort-good fit(128 lbs-5'2") ordered a medium--It is cute and I like the hemline and color. I cut one star because it has nice sized front pockets but is so uncomfortable to carry a cell phone especially when you sit. Please consider a side pocket in thigh area with invisible zip-this is so nice on skorts, skirts and capris! Not noticeable and very comfortable to carry a phone.

I cannot complain a lot about this skort. It is well made and seems like it will stand up to a fair amount of tough use. I wish that I had paid more attention when I tried it on, though, because it is too big for me. The built-in shorts hold it up, but the rest of the skirt hangs on me. I wish I had ordered a size down. Also, potentially because it's not the right size, I can't hike in it. It limits how big a step you can take. I've tried cinching the sides to give me more room for movement, but after a certain point it looks and feels a little odd. I don't believe this is a poorly made product, hence I still gave it 4 stars, but it's not really a good fit for me and it doesn't have the same versatility of other skorts I own.

Absolutely love this skort. It's become my everyday go-to. The waist is comfortably stretchy and stays in place well. We just bought electric bikes, and this is the perfect skort for riding around, plus dressy enough to stop in a cafe for lunch. I've washed it a couple times, and it washed and dried well. I wish the back pocket was slightly bigger, so it would fit my cell phone. Wearing the phone in the front pockets causes a weird bulge that I don't like the look of.

Love this skort! It's a little on the long side (good for anyone over 40 that prefers it) compared with other skorts. But the fabric is perfect for wet/dry conditions; it's light so it's not hot and if it gets wet it dries extremely quickly. Has lots of pockets big enough for your phone and fits well enough that a phone in the pocket drags it down. The pattern I bought is no longer available (I bought during a sale so it's even a better deal) but I love the new colors and highly recommend!

The design of this dress is amazing, it's definitely patagonia, which is the mostly liked brand. The soft material will bring me with cold and dry feel during this hot summer, undoubtblely, this will attract the eyes of peers in my bio-lab.

I love a good skort. They are functional and cute! I tend to use skorts for river trips (any sort of water related trips) and casual wear. This is a great piece to own! I am 5'2 and 120lbs and I am glad I went with the XS, the small would have swallowed me. Even the XS is a tad (just the smallest bit) loose, but in a comfortable way. I'm a fan!

The Wife: After forever my husband convinced me to get a skort for hiking. The fit is a little big but I love the look of it. The only thing I wish they would change is that it was a shorts style insert instead of underwear to help with some friction issues. It was great for a short hike but I don't think I could go much longer.

Gave this as a gift to my mom and she loves it - she was worried it would be too short but she is very comfortable in it.

This is my favorite summer, outdoors, kicking around skirt - top layer dries fast in case you dip it in the water while fishing, and it's a good just-above knee length. The undershorts stay wet a little longer, though, so not recommended to get sopping wet. I'm a curvy 5'7", 130ish, and I wore a Small in 2017, but it's too small in this size this year. The fabric does "relax" a bit with wearing because it's stretchy, but the 2018 sizing is inconsistent with 2017's - it's tighter/smaller and expects less curviness, so the fabric bunched between the waistband and top of my bum. Might try the M instead.

This skort has earned a place in my pack on backpacking trips. Flattering fit in quick drying fabric, a great alternative to shorts that is perfect for adventures that bring you to the water.
