So comfortable. I love the material, and I think these are my favorite workout shorts. I've never tried this brand, but I love it now. I bought a size up because they have a bit more room.

Patagonia running shorts have always been my favorite so I decided to give the strider 3.5 a try. They are now my favorite pair of running shorts I own! I love the wide stretchy waist band and the light weight material. They fit true to size. I highly recommend these shorts!

I'm about to purchase my third pair of these. I have tons of other running shorts but keep reaching for these because they're the most comfortable, so naturally I needed to have a pair for every run of the week. The pros: The wide, stretchy waistband is really flattering and stays put. It's low profile so it doesn't bother me when I'm wearing a running belt. I've only worn these for training runs so far, and I've run up to 10 miles in them. Zero chafing and no riding up! The con: There's only one: No zipper on the key pocket. Adding a zipper is the only thing I'd change about these shorts!

I bought these to wear trail and road running and they work great for both! Now that it has warmed up I have been wearing these to run in the evenings and I love them! They are super comfortable, light and soft. They fit great and feel good to run in. They are a great length for me; I like my running shorts a little shorter. These shorts fit me true to size and I couldn't be happier with them!

I bought these shorts to run my first trail half marathon and they have quickly become my go to running shorts. They are very soft and comfortable, even more so than my classic women's Nike running shorts. I will more than likely buy a few more in the future!

First off, I love these. They're lightweight and I love the length on me. Very flattering. I am in between sizes and I bought a medium, thinking that Patagonia ran on the smaller side. I could have definitely gotten away with a small. Luckily the drawstring is fully functional (not just for looks) so I can tighten the waist up a bit. Love the little zippered pocket on the back, but just as a warning, it is big enough for keys and small things but probably not a cellphone. Just in case it helps anyone else buying these, my hips at the widest point are 37.5" and my waist is 30"

Shockingly awesome, 5'2 118 lbs, XS fits perfect! These hit where my thumbs end (think cheerleading skirt)! Flattering on a curvy bum! Stink-proof, may be because they dry so fast! The inner layer undies, don't ride in, and stay put on long sweaty runs.

I love the fit and comfort of the Patagonia shorts. I also like that they have a built in liner so there is no awkward moments.

When I first got these my initial impression was they were going to be too small (I sized down from a small to xs) but when I started using them I found them to actually be perfect. They are definitely on the shorter side, but are so comfortable to run and just hang out in. The back pocket is perfect for keeping a key or a couple bucks for a run to the ice cream store. The draw string is also helpful to keep the waist up so if you feel like you might want the legs to be a touch longer.

The fit on these does not work for me: the waist is large, the thighs are fitted, and the inner brief totally rode up on me when running and walking (and this is never a problem for me). The fabric seems really nice: lightweight and breathable. I like the length, but they are pretty short. I'm usually a medium in bottoms (5"7, 130lbs) and the medium seemed a little large on me (but the thighs on the small would have been too tight). I think if you have the right body type for these they could be comfortable, but there is nothing about them that makes them worth $50!

These shorts are awesome, they are fantastically comfortable and make running much less of a chore. The built in liners are also super soft and comfortable. I also love that they don't rub on my legs too much. Fit was what I expected.

I use these for trail running and hiking and was pretty impressed they look so good and feel great and have just the perfect amount of coverage! I got a small in these and I am a small in all other Patagonia shorts like the baggies for example but I honestly could have sized down to an XS. The next colors I purchase will be XS.
