Pack your Osprey Waypoint 80 Backpack, grab your passport, and backpack through the continent of your choice. This backpack boasts the comfort and hiking ease of a trekking pack with the features and convenience of a travel bag. Slip into the Waypoint's adjustable harness, and comfortably make the long trek from the train station to your hostel. The snoozing backpackers won't hear you as you easily get a change of clothes from the foam-stiffened interior. Later in the day, leave the Waypoint locked to your bedpost, zip your passport your journal into the daypack's secure zipper and take in the sites of the city. The Waypoint's sturdy and supportive design means that you'll be comfortable carrying it through any foreign jungle—urban or otherwise. When it's time to return, the side carry handle, storable harness, and StraitJacket compression wings make coming home a breeze. Too bad you won't want to leave.

This pack system is fantastic! it is easy to transport and use in all of it various configurations. Like everything Osprey is doing it is great quality and built to last. If you are traveling and do not like roller bags this is a great option!

This is quite the pack and I would say it is perfect for exploring new places. If you are looking for a pack to take with you while you discover a few new countries, this should be on your shortlist. All of the backpack straps zip away making the bag much safer to check with the airlines There is a super nice stash pocket for your Passport / Wallet, that keeps it away from pickpockets and the bag turns into two bags, which is especially nice when you check the main bag, you have a convenient carry on bag that detaches. I feel like they thought of everything.
