I ordered the correct size, size 11 which is my tennis shoe size! Fit was perfect, they are tight above the ankles but for two days of hard flats fishing, running and gunning along the beach sand, rockey spots and over trees, not one grain of sand made it into these boots. These boots are fairly light and drain really well. Really happy with these boots.

These boots are perfect for flats wading not just in Christmas Island but really any rocky beach where you can do some summer wading or wading in tropical waters. They take a bit of getting used to if you were expecting something as heavy as river wading boots. These boots are much thinner and fit tightly around the leg above the ankle to prevent gravel, sand and vegetation from getting into the booth. They take a bit to put on but you'll be glad they do given they keep all the debris out of your boot and prevent blisters. Must have for tropics fishing in the flats or off the beach. Don't go barefoot.
