The Orage Jasmine Jacket is designed to keep you on the slopes even when the conditions are bitterly cold. The Jasmine features a combination of PrimaLoft Thermoplume and PrimaLoft Black insulation, concentrated at the core and sleeves respectively, to keep your precious body heat from slipping away. A Demizax 2-layer membrane provides breathable protection against the elements, and all of the seams have been sealed to prevent moisture from seeping in. A helmet-compatible hood works with the powder skirt and adjustable cuffs to ensure snow can't sneak in these access points and dampen your spirits.

I had high hopes for this jacket, but it was not to be. The fabric, feel, and technical aspects of this jacket were all surprisingly nice. Very soft feel around the face, cool zipper, nice pockets, well placed insulation. However, I question the designers of this jacket have actually considered the *average* woman's body shape? Once I had this baby zipped up, I looked like I was wearing a life preserver- the top half of the jacket is very loose, and the bottom half is profoundly snug. I am 5’6, 155 lbs with a long torso and athletic build, ordered a large- My booty is pretty average sized and this jacket was TIGHT (NOT wearing my ski pants!) around the waist/hips/booty while I was absolutely swimming in the top half/ drowning in the super long sleeves. This jacket seems to be made for a statuesque runway model type with no tummy or booty at all whatsoever. If it had fit better I would keep it, but there was no way this was going to work for me even sizing down to Medium because of the extreme tightness in the hip area.
