Mountain Hardwear made the Firefall Bib Pant with dawn patrols and epic backcountry days in mind. It has Thermal.Q insulation in critical areas for efficient heat retention where you want it most. If the pants end up running too hot, full-length side zips dump heat and provide comfortable ventilation for as much or as little that is required. Articulated knees allow for additional mobility so you’re not restricted while skinning up the track or making your kick turns. Both zippered thigh pockets have a mesh pocket to fit an avalanche beacon, so you can whip it out easily when you need to.

I’m intermediate and not a pro, I just love this bib so much. It does everything I’m looking for, keeps me warm, super water proof, all the same time while being formfitting and not restricting movement. I was also able to fit hip pads and knee pads under the bibs no problem. Light land is a great color too, doesn’t hurt my eyes like whites do on the slope.100% made my snowboard trips easier.

I decided to try bibs this year. They kept me warmer, for sure, and the extra pockets are useful! I also like not having the bulk of a waistband. Price was good, but I WISH I’D PURCHASED A DIFFERENT MODEL!!! Functionality of this model isn’t great— the side zippers were a good idea for bathroom breaks, but unless I pulled the vent zipper right up next to the flap-opener zipper, the flap zippers would work themselves down while I skied. Not ideal. Additionally, in order to have the over the shoulder elastics stay attached to the front bib hooks, I had to tighten them to the point of front-wedgie. Not a great feeling. Leaving a comfortable amount of slack in the elastic length resulted in the strap coming loose from the front hook when I sat on the lift. An actual “clip” function to connect front to back would be a better design. I’m 5’6, 140lbs, athletic build. Bought the medium, which is my correct size. I wore it out west for a week trip. Not in love. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more.

I really like these bibs! They're a little bit long on me and are more bootcut than they look in the picture, but other than that they're great for the price. They're warm and really well water proofed, I wore them in a powder day at the resort with no problem! The zippers make pee breaks really easy too which is much appreciated. I like all of the pockets, especially the fleece lined one over the chest, and the purple color is fun but not overwhelming.

I will never go back from bibs! I am 5'6" 135 lbs and a C cup. The bibs fit great. They give a flattering waist, no sag in the bottom and are just long enough. They have all the pockets you need and the purple is subtle but feminine. I ski all conditions and backcountry and they have enough flex in the knees and stretch for any movements.

I’ve been searching for a reasonably priced bib for a while, finally pulled the trigger on these. The green color is so versatile. I love the full zip legs and they’ll be super easy to pee in too! Perfect weight for everyday skiing. Looking forward to using these on resort days, as well as backcountry days. Of note - they’re slightly big. I initially ordered a small but exchanged them for an x-small. They’re now perfect.

Bought the dark gray and really it is so dark I would call it black. I ordered a small and thought these ran way large (opposing what other people may think.) So for reference, I am 5'5 120 lbs. Very baggy on me. But loved all the features and am excited to exchange them for the correct sizing and wear them this season!

I bought these for a friend who wanted to switch to bibs for the ski season. She really loves the softness of the bib, they move really easily while still remaining quite durable. They are insulated and warm, so on sunny spring days, the ability to vent was welcomed. As others have mentioned, the side zippers do have a tendency to unzip if you don't ensure they are at the very top to begin with. I would say that these run a little small, but unlike some other brands, if you size up to fit the thighs and booty, you aren't left with extra long legs that bunch up or drag. My friend also loves all the pocket options in the bibs.

I purchased these halfway through the season and have been more than happy with them for the price. They're a nice weight; warm enough for cold resort days, and cool enough for touring. Love the full leg zips, these are amazing! All in all, an awesome product, especially if you're looking for a slim fit. I'm 5'7" and 120 lbs, and usually drown in snow pants. These fit perfectly. The only reason I took away a star is that the other reviews are true, they do unzip a little during the day. I found that they only unzipped an inch or two under my jacket so it wasn't a problem for me at this price point, but it does seem to be a minor design flaw.

I didnt care for the bibs, as they unzipped with movement. My husband has the mens version and his also unzip, but he is willing to put up with it because he likes them so much. I bought Arcteryx bibs instead

Bought these as a gift for the wife, she tends to get cold easily. She loves the feel and fit, would recommend for those that get cold when outside for an extended period of time. The sizing chart was also very helpful.

Got these for my wife and after trying what felt like every pair on the site we decided to keep these. They fit well and should keep her happy while riding the resort.

These bibs are great for the price (provided you get them on sale), and are a nice waterproof soft shell. But the bib straps do not stay at the correct length - they loosen as you hike or ski.
