Until I bought these shorts! I ordered one pair and then ordered two more. I'm on the curvier side - small waist, big hips. I normally where medium bottoms (I'm 5'7 and 140lbs) and these in a medium were perfect. They are stretchy, breath well, and don't ride up in the crotch like most of my "active" shorts. The quality and look is great, too.

If you haven't switched to hiking in elastic waste clothing - do it. I am 5'9" and about 150, the medium is perfect. I have long legs and a bit of a booty so the 6" length work great, they go a couple inches below my butt. Historically it is really hard to find hiking shorts that fit well! These are perfect for hiking, they sit right on my waste for a comfortable and flattering fit. Hiking, paddle boarding, lounging in the sun, whatever your passion these are amazing. They stay in place and don't rub. LOVE.

I dig these shorts a bunch. Perfect length for under a harness, lifting weights, running, comfy for lounging around and still nice looking getting a bite to eat in town at a nice cafe. I usually wear a “small” in most leggings and a 4 in Prana Kara Jeans. I LOVE the waist on these— snug enough that they wont fall down but not too snug that they are uncomfortable. (Although the 8 inch short same brand in small is slightly big in me) These are one of my new favorites!!

(this is Tyson's wife) THESE SHORTS ARE THE BEST. I would wear them every day if I could. They're super versatile and comfy and I want them in every color. I ordered the longer length and have had no issues with riding up.

The Dynama shorts (6 inch length) are seriously the absolute best most comfortable and functional shorts ever. We live in the mountains and are a super active outdoorsy family. I have four kids and a definite ‘mom pooch’, I find that most shorts are either too short or I’m constantly yanking them up my hips. The waist band on the Dynama short is super flattering and super functional. The 6 inch length is great and modest without being frumpy and dowdy. These have held up and been comfortable out hiking, boating, fishing and just running around outside with the kids. For reference I’m 5’5 about 145 pounds, usually wear a size 8 in jeans and the Medium fits great!

They fit great but they ride up when I walk. I wore them hiking and they were not nearly as breathable as my Icebreaker persist shorts. I will use these on vacation/around the house but would not recommend for hiking.

I own two pairs of these shorts and I love them. They are comfortable, stretchy, and durable, and the longer length makes them great for climbing with a harness. It's often hard to find women's shorts with good pockets - and these shorts have nice deep pockets!

These shorts are awesome. I love the longer length - they work great with a harness. They are stretchy, comfy and durable. The pockets actually fit things, as well.

These shorts are the comfiest, most versatile shorts I own. I prefer the 4 inch inseam for and water activities, but both have a great fit. They stretch well and are a super cool material, while being fairly durable for all sorts of activities. I wear a size small, and am 5'5" 130 lbs.

The material is soft, light, comfortable, and stretchy. I love that this nylon-elastane blend doesn't have the shiny look and slick feel of some polyester activewear - these shorts almost feel like bushed cotton. But then they surprise you...they're durable and have a DWR treatment. Since when does technical apparel meet decent design? The high waistband and flattering cut mean you can wear these pretty much anywhere. I want them in every color! Questions about this or any other product? I never order clothes online because hardly anything fits my curvy shape. These shorts are absolutely amazing!! I normally wear a size 10 in shorts to fit over my thighs and booty, but I was able to get a Medium (the recommended size for my measurements) and they fit PERFECTLY. I'm back to buy them in every color. The length is perfect, not too awkwardly long, and not short enough to ride up! Absolutely in LOVE.

Best shorts fits true to size and stretchy , and a little on the long length so they fit just right not to much ride up :)
