Your choice of mat can make a big difference in how inspired or able you are to deepen your yoga practice or tackle your daily stretch or exercise routine. With the Manduka PROlite Yoga Mat, you'll enjoy supportive, dense cushioning and a hygienic, slip-resistant surface that will get you stoked to crawl onto your mat day in and day out, treating yourself to some therapeutic movement and stretch sessions. The PROlite is Manduka's travel-friendly version of its heavier PRO mat, designed to be schlepped with you when you're on-the-go while still providing the support the PRO series mats are known for.

The mat is made of an extremely durable blend of eco-certified PVC and polyester that is guaranteed to last a lifetime, and its slip-resistant yet non-sticky surface actually improves with age and use. The surface's closed cell construction does not absorb moisture and bacteria, so the mat stays fresh and continues to perform like it's new. A dot pattern on the bottom of the mat grips the ground so the mat doesn't slide on a slick surface.

So comfy! Great mat. definitely needs a salt breakin to rid it of its slippery nature.

Love this mat, it's just a lighter weight version of the Manduka Pro, which is the mat I had before.

I picked this up as a lighter yet thicker mat for traveling all around. I have a Manduka eKO lite mat and love it however it is really heavy to cart around all the time. I have found this one to be easy and offer a lot of cushion and great grip. I have not tested it in hot yoga without a towel yet so cannot speak to that yet but overall this is my new favorite. A great balance of everything I am looking for

I absolute love this brand of yoga equipment. I’ve have 2 different mats, their yoga blocks and some straps that I’ve been collecting over the years. I bought this specific one for my sister for Christmas because she always tries to steal my spare. Manduka mats are not your average mat, they are sturdy and will last years. Definetly worth every penny. Buy the wash that they sell and your mat will stay clean and nice even if you use it outside.

I bought this mat for myself, and ordered another one for my friend as a gift. The Thunder color looks really awesome in person, and love how lightweight it is.

I am stoked on my new Manduka PROlite Yoga Mat :) This is the first yoga mat that I've splurged on, and could not be more excited about it. The Lotus color is a great baby blue color. The only thing is that I still find this mat a little slippery.

My girlfriend purchased this mat and loves it. She had a Lululemon mat prior and wanted something lighter and more suitable for an everyday practice. She followed directions from Manduka on how to break in and it took less that a few hours. Let soak in sun for 1-2 hours and then rubbed it down with a sea salt/water mixture. Really light weight. Definitely a good purchase!

So my prior mat was rubber based and figured I would try this one, PVC based. At this point, I've had the mat for over 6 weeks and almost 20 studio sessions where I used it. Pros are that its lightweight, the initial smell was minimal, and with the hard wood floor the studio I go to has it doesn't slip around or bunch up at all. But for me, I couldn't figure out how to get my hands to not slip around when in down dog or similar angled poses. My feet would be planted in down dog or any lunge oriented pose though. Tried the sea salt breakin, tried mat wash sprays multiple times, tried a yoga hand towel, nothing really worked. Finally went back to an old Aurorae Rosin Bag and applied in the top 15 inches of the mat and that generally works. Shall see if that is needed less over time or not. So overall 3 stars. Now that I've got the Rosin Bag trick, I'm not going to replace this mat anytime soon. But I shouldn't have needed to go there.

One of the few long mats available. Squishy enough for comfort, yet rolls up in a tidy package. Provides great grip on both sides, so it doesn’t slide around on the floor and your contact points stay planted. Not much more to say!

I bought this mat for my wife, and she loves it. She regularly goes to yoga and this mat has not disappointed. The thickness of the mat is perfect for active use. While it is a little bit heavier to carry than your typical mat, it makes up for it in performance while in use (and the heaviness does not bother her at all). Whether you regularly practice yoga, or just want a good and durable mat for sporadic use, this will not disappoint.

First purchase of a mat... super happy with it! Got it for Hot Yoga and it was a little slippery to start, after a few uses its fine. I did notice a smell but didn't think it was as strong as others stated in reviews.

I have owned the Manduka Pro and ProLite yoga mats. They are both super durable and thick enough to keep your joints pain free during your practice. I like the ProLite mat slightly more than the Pro because it weighs less and still offers great grip for your down dogs during hot yoga sessions. Plus 6mm(Pro) vs 5mm(prolite) isn't much of difference in thickness.
