First the good - it is light but surprisingly warm, fit is great, is super comfortable, and (best part) it is really deep so covers ears really well. It also provides good coverage under a helmet. My main issue with this hat is that unfortunately, it really does not wick at all and takes forever to dry! Even a day later it is still damp, so not ideal for winter hiking or camping. Based on the materials, I'm not sure why this is the case. Takes much longer to dry out than a 15+ year old TNF beanie made from (supposedly) the same fabrics. I still like it a lot, but should perform better.
