Kokatat built the Men's Gore-Tex Meridian Dry Suit tough and ready to handle anything you can throw at it. Gore-Tex Pro Shell, which comprises the majority of this suit, offers the protection of waterproof, breathable fabric that not only keeps you bone dry but also comfortable and free from stifling and chilling sweat. Latex gaskets, a waterproof chest zipper, and a dual-adjustable overskirt further improve the waterproof performance, while Cordura seat and knee patches ensure the type of long-term durability that would put any other dry suit to shame. Suit up in the Meridian and drag it down waterfall rappels and raging rivers and through the thick woods of long portages season after season.

I sea kayak guided in this suit every day for a season in the San Juan Islands of Washington state. Often times wearing this 4-12 hours a day everyday for 5+ months. This was part of my lifeline system. Always remember that a drysuit is to be used in addition to well practiced technical skills. They do not make youu invincible, but can provide a safety net when shit hits the fan. This is a heavy duty suit. The 3 layer waterproof membrane is standard. The reinforced knees and seat areas hold up to continued abuse on boats, rocks, sand, etc... a leaky skirt left me with enough water in my boat at times to come into the seat. Sitting in water all day, I never once had wetness on the inside. Care for the zipper and it will treat you well. In 5 months of heavy use I replaced the neck gasket twice and wrist gasket once. Take care to learn proper technique before doing this! Overall, this is a solid heavy use suit. Care for it properly and it will last you a long time.

Got this as a gift, here is the feedback: "Dry suit purchases are hard to make, but when you do, you realize why they are expensive. This was easy to put on and remove without the help of a friend. The construction of materials and gaskets makes me feel confident paddling in cold weather. Used on the gates of lodore and loved the protection it offered from a potential hypothermic swim. One thing to note is the suit says it is insulated...the insulation is nothing substantial so do not think that will alone keep you warm without layers"
