Makes the repair spot stronger than the rest of the tarp or tent. Dyneema is strong but it is also very lightweight and needs to be treated gently. The last thing you want is to rip your shelter and get caught in some weather. This repair kit weighs virtually nothing. I always keep some of these in my first aid kit.

i used this to repair a slash in my hmg pack a few months ago. you can hardly tell it's there, and it's still holding up well.
