You prefer a different kind of ride, but the RollerCoaster Jacket from Houdini will keep you comfortable when your ride is a mountain run instead of a metal track. Its hardshell outer seals out moisture while allowing plenty of vapor to escape to prevent you from becoming a sauna. The RollerCoaster also features underarm vents so you can control your airflow. Houdini used Made-to-Move technology to ensure you can move without restriction whether you prefer skis or a snowboard, and gave the jacket a powder skirt and a helmet-compatible hood to ensure snow stays out whether it's falling from the sky or coming up from the ground. Adjustments at the hem, cuffs, and hood round out the customization options, ensuring you can find a fit that is comfortable for long days on the slopes.

Another perfect product from Houdini. This fabric is really soft, moves well, and stays quiet. I was in some good storms with it, and kept perfectly dry. The water doesn't bead off the same as other hard shells, but I was totally dry and I love how quiet the soft fabric is. The fit is true to size. I am a schmedium and the small fit well for both the jacket and the bibs. If I wanted a baggier fit, I could have sized up on the jacket, but not the bibs. I had all the pockets I needed. I liked the chest pockets. There are no hand pockets, but I realized I didn't really need, them. That was interesting, but I can't say it's a issue. It actually makes for a really streamlined fit. I demoed this jacket, but would purchase it if I could. I especially love how environmentally conscious these products and the company is, so I'd love to support them in those areas as well.

I have used this jacket on a couple tours and at the resort this season and so far have nothing but great things to say! It's built with mountaineering and ski touring in mind so the pockets are accessible with a harness or pack. The armpit vents are really nice too because they cut in under your pits and I can actually use them to access my mid layer's pockets comfortably without taking the jacket off. The jacket is designed with a 3d pattern so when you shoot your arms straight up in the air the rest of the jacket doesn't move. It's pretty cool! The only thing I think the jacket is missing are wrist gaiters. The sleeves aren't quite wide enough to easily go over my winter gloves but is too big to pull them over the sleeves. Sizing: I typically wear a Medium in athletic pieces like this but am a Small in the Houdini Rollercoaster. I have broad shoulders and a large chest and the small is still a perfect fit covering my butt. Pictures to come!

The RollerCoaster jacket is made of a single piece of fabric to replicate your moments during your outdoor pursuits. Waterproof and breathable this jacket kept me dry since day one! I was caught in a blizzard and this top of the line shell had me remain dry with its Velcro sleeve cuffs, water repellent zips. and fully seamed seams. Two outer pockets insured the safety of my phone and my favorite chapsitck. More reasons to love this Jacket! Made from Recycled Fibers, itself is recyclable, fluorocarbon free and Bluesign-Certified. Therefore, when it's finally worn out, you can bring it back to Houdini for either recycling or to be sold in our second hand store. I have a size small and I normally where a small in jackets. I have a long torso and a petite build. It has a relaxed fit, and long enough to cover my bum.
