The Herschel Pop Quiz pack is the perfect every day pack. It’s great for school, work, or just carrying a few essentials around town. From the outside this looks like a pretty basic backpack but it has some really nice features. The laptop sleeve and sunglass pocket are both lined with a really soft fleece material. The shoulder straps are padded and have a mesh material on the inside to allow airflow. The front pocket has an internal organizer for pens, keys, wallet, and other small trinkets (shown in picture). Every little detail of this pack was well thought out and built with high quality materials. I really like that the design and look is simple on the outside but Herschel didn’t compromise on any internal features. This pack is definitely worth the money!

I bought this as a day pack or commuter bag. It is stylish and durable. I love the color, and the laptop sleeve is perfect for transporting my work laptop. Herschel makes quality bags and this is no exception.

I bought this Herschel pack for my girlfriend who is finishing up college. She loves the pack. "It's big enough to hold all of my school books and computer and I look great wearing it!" It is a good looking pack.

Purchased this for my daughter heading into 11th grade. She always likes Herschel, they last the entire school year under teenage abuse, and the new floral print was a nice selling point.

When I first saw this bag I liked it. It seem to have good features with the organization pocket and fleece lined compartments. But having owed it, I now think the overall design of the back is poor. Most of what I mention could have been checked out if I purchased it in person, but at least now I may be able to help the poor sap looking to drop 80 bucks on this like I did. First off, the bag has very limited openings and its very stiff; this became a problem getting in and out of it. This bag is definitely not easy open. You have to use two hands to open the pockets and jiggle it around to get the zippers open, and the flaps over the zippers get stuck in them (I'm about ready to cut them off). Lastly the zippers dont extend very far down along the length, making it more difficult to use, and the organization compartments are small and cramped. If you compare this style of bag with Jansport, youll see the difference in zipper length and the resulting opening of the bag. This aspect of the bag is something I didn’t think was very important in backpacks, but it turns out if you do it wrong it can really effect the product. This backpack doesnt even carry weight very well. I recommend investing in a bag for school that can ergonomically help you carry textbooks, because this aint cutting it. For the money, I wish I had. I would not recommend purchasing this backpack from Backcountry, because the bag I received was not the one depicted in the image. The select size and style area says black/black, but the image is that of a bag with white detailing on the bottom. I admit I am partially to blame for the mistake, but this is not the backpack I payed for. I definitely regret this purchase because now this bag just sits in my closet. The only plus was that the shipping was quick and efficient (for the wrong bag).

I really like the fabric used on this pack. It is really stiff and durable. It has just enough pockets but can still be considered a simple pack. comfortable on and nice zippers those will likely not bust for a good while.

This bag doesn't have a million bells and whistles, but it's got style! The padded laptop compartment is great for your computer or a tablet and the organizer pocket is good for those small things you don't want to lose. Besides that, it has room for your books and folders or a weekend's change of clothes. For casual day-to-day use, this is my go to bag!

I bought my fiance this backpack for Christmas since he is starting school soon. I have a red one, which I have used for the last 3 years of school, and I love it! He had his eye on a different bag but once he saw this one he loved it also. It has storage and organizers for everything, is very durable, and the color doesn't bleed when it gets wet like other backpacks I've had. It's definitely the perfect bookbag for this purpose.
