The Helly Hansen Women's Legendary Pants combine high-level performance with a classic resort look that never goes out of style. The two-layer Helly Tech Protection shell fabric blocks snow from winter storms while remaining breathable, the fully taped seams keep moisture from slipping in through the pant seams, and the boot gaiters seal around boots to keep the snow out. That defense is reinforced with 60g Primaloft WarmCore insulation, which keeps your lower extremities warm on chilly days.

These pants have gotten great reviews from several outdoor companies, so I bought them. But they are just too tight for my liking and WAY too long for the size I bought (8/M). The pants looked waterproof and seemed wind proof, but there was no way I could wear a nice thick base layer underneath because they were so tight.

Good quality pant but they were way too long and I'm 5'5 average height. Too flared at the bottom without any way to make that tighter, I would've been tripping all over them.

Great pant for resort skiing. Insulation is light, so if you run cold, you will need a heavy baselayer under this one. Great fit with the ability to move. I love the adjustable waist for fit and the thigh vents for heat control. Great buy for the price.

I've only worn these once since I bought them but so far I like them. I wore these on a day when it was -14 degrees and I did feel a little cold (my butt was especially cold in these). I purchased these to replace my Columbia ski pants that were ruined (found out that Columbia no longer makes the ski pants I had and I didn't like any of the others I tried on) and I don't feel that these HH pants are nearly as warm (even though they cost $75 more). I don't like to wear anything under my ski pants, except for shorts, because I find it to be uncomfortable but these pants will definitely require a base layer if you're skiing in below freezing temps (which is almost always). All of that having been said, I really like the fit and feel of these pants. Like most ski pants, these run small. My usual size was too small and the next size up was too big but I was able to adjust the waist on the next size up and that worked well for me.

I got these as a gift, here is her review: "Love these pants, got them in the bright pink color and they are great! Very comfortable, not super tight or restrictive like some snowboarding pants I have had in the past. They work well snowboarding and keep me pretty warm, I tend to run cold so wear pretty warm base layers underneath and am totally fine. I am usually an XS but the smalls fit great because the waist band does not dig into my stomach when I lean down to strap my boots".

These pants are exactly what I've been looking for. They're super comfortable and warm with an excellent fit if you're petite - flattering slim cut yet room enough for layers and boots. Love them!

Wonderful pants, adjustable high waist is the most comfortable I have worn. Slim fitting but roomy enough for layers on extra cold days. Cannot rate these highly enough!

I tried 4 pairs of insulated ski pants from Backcountry and these HH pants in size medium were perfect. The other 3 pairs were different sizes of the North Face Freedom insulated pant, which were nice but didn't fit me well. I'm 5ft 3in, 128lbs with a small waist and fuller hips and thighs. In the North Face pant, I tried a small short, small regular, and medium regular. The smalls were too tight in the thighs and rear and the mediums were too big. The HH Legendary pants is lighter and softer than the NF pant, and fits perfectly (size M) in the hips and rear. The waist is slightly adjustable, so that fits well too. I haven't tried them on the slopes yet, but am psyched to have found a pair that fits so well. AND the back country gearheads, especially Brooklynn, were really helpful!

Fit well & a good cut - not too baggy but room for ski boots underneath. Excited to use them this winter.

my daughter is 5'1" and fit so finding ski pants for her is a challenge. The HH's fit great and are not too long or too flared.
