The 14 hour bus from Paris to Berlin requires a lot of Netflix, but with only an eight hour battery life on your tablet, you bring along the sleek, Goal Zero Sherpa 40 Recharger so you can binge your favorite show as you cruise through the German countryside. If your phone starts to run low on battery as well, you can plug it in to one of the included cables even while your tablet is charging so you'll never have the stress of dead devices when you're trying to navigate a new city. The seamless aluminum body is not only aesthetically pleasing, but durable as well so you can take it with you through multiple countries. After you've drained all the life from the Sherpa, charge it with the solar Nomad 14 or 28 Plus, or plug it into the wall for just under eight hours before you hop on the next bus from Berlin to Amsterdam.

This is a great battery and I love it. I used it on the PCT and it worked great. My main complaints are that compared to other companies like Anker or Power Core this battery is EXPENSIVE and doesn't have as many Amp/Hrs for the weight compared to the Ankers. My other Complaint with it is that the charging cords that it comes with break easily and it's hard to find other Micro USB cords that fir in the small opening to charge the device, which if you cant charge it its just a heavy pointless brick... All-In-All its a good battery but when comparing it to others in the market I think Goal Zero could do better.

The Goal Zero Sherpa 40 is perfect for my backcountry adventures. It fits nicely in the lid of any multi day pack. I use my phone as a map/gps, tracker, and camera while I am in the wilderness and the Sherpa 40 keeps is going. You can charge via a wall charger or solar panel. It’s doesn’t add too much weight to your pack and can be used to charge any other usb item. Won’t leave home without this when I am headed into the backcountry!

It’s my fault for assuming that this would be small enough to be appropriate for backpacking, but it’s actually pretty huge. The previous charger I purchased from this company was about the size and weight of a deck of cards. This one is about the size of an iPad. It’s clearly not intended for backpacking. I might keep it for other travel purposes, but I was really disappointed it won’t fit in my pack.

I am usually hard pressed to see much of a difference between power banks. Maybe I don't use them enough to see how much they can vary but what I do notice is how bulky most of them are. This one is so slim it makes it incredibly easy to slip into your pack. Also it's fairly light for how much power it can store. I've always been a fan of Goal Zero and they have once again made a product that I would be stoked to tell others about

Not only is this thing low profile and easy to store away for even the most adventurous trip, but it also charges your devices amazingly fast. Plus it holds a charge really well. It really is a next level power bank.

If you have a 5 year old phone like myself and it only holds a charge for half a day, this device is great. It fits easily into any pack, is quick and easy to charge up overnight, can keep your phone charged for a whole weekend away from home, and is easily used for any electronic device you want to charge. Overall, it's sleek, simple, and reliable.

I like to try and bring this every time I head out camping. It charges your electronics up super fast and it seems to hold juice for quite a while. It's a little on the larger side compared to other portable chargers out there, a bit smaller than a tablet or iPad, but it's super thin and takes up virtually no room. I like that it has several different charging cables so it covers almost all of the electronics you could think of. It does take a little while to get a full charge so allow yourself plenty of time to get it all charged up before you head out.

This thing is great! Was struggling with my car charger and it was charging very slowly so I brought this thing out on my trip with me. To be able to plug it in and have it fully charge as quickly as it does was just a huge relief. Love how slim it is but do wish it could be a tad bit smaller in size. None the less loved having it with me.

This thing is small than any book you'll bring and gives you enough power to keep your DSLR, GoPro, Kindle, and phone charged. I used it on a 3 day trip and still had 3/4 of the power left (didn't bring solar panels to recharge due to shortness of trip).

I LOVE everything about this product, it charged my phone throughout a four day camping trip with zero problems, it's a little big, but stores so much power. Highly reccomend, much better than a mophie.

This is hands down the best recharger I've ever used. It's sleek, lightweight, and really packs a punch -- I can recharge my phone more than 3 times with it before having to plug it in again! I've even started using it at home when it's more convenient than using a wall outlet. Perfect for travel, camping, and just about anything else.

This recharger is great for camping, travel, and everyday use. At less than 1/2" thick it fits easily in your hand or backpack. I mainly use it to charge my phone when on the move. It comes with short charging cables to keep everything small and organized.

Sleek charger that hold plenty of juice for your phone and tablet. Comes with 3 different USB charging cords. It's actually a bit larger than you might expect which is a bit annoying when travelling, but it holds enough juice so you dont have to worry about your phone or tablet going dead.

I used this on our most recent camping trip and it was perfect! It took a while to charge up before we left, but has so much juice! It charged my phone extremely quickly and we got 4 charges out of it (I think it could have done more but that's all we needed between 2 phones). Love this thing and will be carrying it around with me whenever I'm gone for long periods of time. A little larger than I expected but I didn't look at the measurements beforehand. Very thin and not too heavy.

Will be taking this on the PCT and so far have loved it. charges my IPhone 6s and Gopro a couple times, Love the design and for those of you that enjoy freezing your ass off winter camping, it will fit in the sleeping bag with you very well because of the slim design which is super nice.

I've always loved Goal Zero's rechargers, but they really stepped it up with their newer lines. They're so sleek! I love the Sherpa 40 because it fits perfectly in my purse, isn't too heavy, and can charge my phone up to 4 times on one charge! I take it everywhere with me; it's perfect for anything from camping trips to long days out on the town when you're on vacation and don't want your phone (or Bluetooth headphones) to die. Love, love, love!

Picked up a few of these for family members for Christmas. They're constantly on-the-go and being able to juice up their phones is a huge plus. Simple, sleek design from a company that provides high-quality and durable gadgets.

This is a great bank to charge multiple devices. Streamlined design makes it a breeze to throw in a pack and all the ports allow you to remain flexible with your charging options. If you need some more substantial juice, this is the ticket.
