Giro built its Ledge Mips Helmet to effectively deal with the abuse only dedicated park riders can dish out. The Ledge's hard-shell construction will absorb multiple impacts, while the MIPS brain protection system displaces the energy from an impact. The Auto Loc 2 Fit System ensures a snug and secure fit, or it can be removed altogether when you want to wear the helmet with just a beanie beneath. Multiple vents along the top and front of the shell keep cool air circulating through and are designed to keep all Giro goggles fog-free. The skate-inspired design offers a low-profile for a clean look and easily fits under most jacket hoods.

Giro Ledge helmet is one for the books. I skied in it everyday all of last season and of every helmet I have owned it has been my favorite. Very light, Very stylish and most importantly very protective. I slapped my head on the groomer very hard last december and was totally fine, If i would've been wearing a different helmet I believe I would have been seriously concussed.

Giro ledge helmet review It’s so difficult to find a helmet that doesn’t make you look like an astronaut. The ledge has a slim profile design with a lightweight that makes you forget it’s even resting on your head. Very comfortable and all around a great helmet

Great helmet. The helmet after the first dressing seemed small, but after setting it turned out just right. My head is 59cm. Easy, comfortable, beautiful.

I bought this helmet for this year's ski season and I'm very happy with how it's worked out. I haven't had the chance to truly test it out, but it fits well and the fleece on the strap adds some extra warmth. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the color too!

Its a stylish helmet with awesome features and at a great price. I wear a 7 3/8 hat size and the large fits really well.

Size up if you are close to the next size. I have a 22.5" head circumference and the Medium was really snug. The Large is a much better fit

The last time I wore a helmet was many years ago. I lost that habit and after a few bonks on the head this season, I decided to give the helmet thing another shot. I looked for a very simple, skate style helmet and happened upon the Ledge w/ MIPS from Giro. I have a larger head and I planned on wearing a beanie beneath the helmet so I opted for the Large. The helmet allows for the padding to be removed for use with a beanie and it fite comfortably either way. Internal adjustments allow for the fit to be fine tuned regardless how you prefer to wear it. My Spy goggles fit the helmet with very little gap between them and the airflow through the helmet keeps my head cool when I'm working hard on a pow day. Overall great helmet experience, even gives me a little more confidence. Mom will be proud.

I love this helmet and it offers protection at a good price. I wear a size 7 and 3/8ths hat and I got a Medium but a large would have fit better.

80 bucks for MIPS, seriously!? This is some kind of steal for a good fitting helmet that also incorporates MIPS tech into it. The shape of the helmet is a little more friendly then pictured above, and definitely has more angular shapes to it then spherical, like most other helmets. Its a little bit different, and its a great price, and it has MIPS. Too easy, buy!

http://mipsprotection.com/technology/ A solid and affordable MIPS helmet. My head is 59cm. The size large fits me with room for a baselayer hood or low profile beanie.

After ordering upwards of 6-8 helmets to try out, the Giro Ledge was the clear winner for me. I used to ride without a helmet for a little bit and got "scared straight" into hopping back on the safe train with the help from a crazy Netflix documentary. As far as a MIPS helmet that is <$100 and fits well/true to size while looking super stylish with most goggles - the Giro LEDGE is the way to go! I went with the matte black and wear a beanie and goggles underneath. If you decide to wear your goggles on the outside that's cool too. Either way, I'm stoked on the size I went with. If you have any questions on sizing, goggles compatibility (HUGE concern for just about any rider - don't want that gaper gap) contact me directly. Ride on!

I got this item but it ran smaller than the size chart and the size medium was just a little too tight for me. Other than that, it's a solid helmet (literally) and will definitely protect your noggin. It's also a bit bulkier than I had hoped, but for a MIPS helmet you can't beat the price.

A nice lightweight helmet with good ventalation that fits snugly to my head. I haven't taken any massive bangers to the head to really test the MIPS, and I am hopping not to, but I like what Giro is doing with the technology. The liner is comfortable and rotates inside the helmet to protect against rotational forces if I really eat it. Overall, the helmet is comfortable and stylish and fits with my Smith googles just fine. I am a big fan of this helmet
