Easy application and chunks to tick with? The Friction Lab Gorilla Grip chalk is the white stuff for you. It has the fine grade of chalk you need for a quick chalk-up mid-route, but also the chunks you need to crunch to rest and use to tick the next move. With no fillers, Gorilla Grip will dry your hands and keep you on the face longer, as long as you have it in you to make the move.

We all have our favorites, but I happen to like Friction Labs chalk better than Metolius Super Chalk. Seems thicker, less dusty and maintains friction longer en route.

Is chalk Aid? Well in this case it just might be! This is hands down my favorite chalk, it is a bit thicker so you don't have to keep reapplying on the wall, and doesn't dry your hands out.

Very good chalk especially for granite. For indoor, it didn’t work well for me, but I found a very nice mixture with other chalk. I like how fluffy it feels compared to other chalk yet it is chunky. If it doesn’t match you, I recommend try mixing with other chalk you own.

High quality chalk for when you need that extra grip. Good for indoor and outdoor.

This stuff is a bit sticky for every day use. I usually use it outdoors or if I'm really trying to send. I use a different chalk for indoors and every day use so my skin stays more intact. I know I'm a baby.

I've been getting into bouldering recently and this chalk is perfect for indoors. I like to steer away from using chalk outdoors. I don't have to re-chalk as often especially since I like my hands pure white! Would totally recommend this chalk for people trying to get better at bouldering/climbing in general indoors!

I decided to give this chalk a try after hearing great things and its amazing. I let my girlfriend try it and now she won't give it back. She always complains about her hands being dry after climbing and she notices how much better they feel when she uses friction lab. It’s fantastic chalk that works great but doesn’t dry out your skin. This is my new go to chalk.

So when people look at chalk, most think it is all the same and there is no benefit to paying more for a more expensive option. Friction Labs has the highest Magnesium Carbonate ratio (which is what chalk is) over any other brand. When you compare to other brands you will find significant amounts of impurities, and other harmful chemicals. So essentially you are spending more for "The Good Sh*t". It really does make all the difference, which you will notice, and you will never use anything else again!

With Friction Labs, the phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. If you think that chalk is just chalk, then it may not be for you to get some Gorilla Grip for your mitts. But, when you try this stuff for the first time, you'll recognize the difference. I'm not saying it'll make you climb better, but it'll certainly make you feel better.

I cant tell you why its the best, I just know it is!(: I have really sweaty hands and have never had a problem with my hands slipping on the wall.

FrictionLabs Chalk is simply the most pure magnesium carbonate chalk you can get. It's all about that purity, and FL has the highest purity available. All climbing chalk is a blend of Magnesium Carbonate and Calcium Carbonate, and the stuff you want to keep your hands dry and the friction high is Mag/Carbonate. The stuff you don't want as much of is Calcium Carbonate. FrictionLabs blends of chalk has a higher concentration of magnesium carbonate than any other chalk. Extra stick, extra grip, and better friction. Gorilla Grip is medium chunk, but if you were to take a chunk of this and grind it up, you would get the Unicorn dust blend. It's like Peanut Butter; some like it chunky, some like it creamy, but it's all the same (within the same brand). Try it and feel the difference.
