I had high hopes, because I have had trouble getting a warm hat that fits after being washed. I have washed this hat in cold a few times and air dried it, and it doesn't fit on my head any longer - and I'm a smaller guy without a giant head. It's heavy and well made, but if it doesn't fit, it's worthless. Additionally, the autumn leaf color is not orange at all like the pic, it's like a maroon red.

Wool that is soft is what makes this hat so great, that I've purchased a couple of different colors. Of course, I failed to follow the washing instructions, and threw it in the dryer on medium heat. And my prior hat shrank. So on to a new one. It is great, and looks good too.

I go this for a cabin trip up in Brighton where temperatures were supposed to plummet to -26 with windchill. I'm usually a hat guy, but I knew a hat wouldn't cut it in those temperatures! Let me tell you this beanie kept my head and ears nice and toasty! Even with the wind I didn't even feel the cold at all on any part of my ears or head. I now regularly wear this beanie on cold winter nights! I get tons of compliments on the beanie! My girlfriend also loves it!

I bought this hat for my wife. Her forehead is sensitive to most hats, and this was much too itchy for her. But I really like it! So we're keeping it for me instead. The hat stretches well and the nice color and logo on the front make it a classy looking toque.

This hat is my new go-to! The material is soft and comfortable, and it offers a good amount of stretch so it's not too tight and awkward. It's the perfect height, and the front patch is a great touch. Definitely would recommend, I plan on getting more colors!

I like beanies that fit loosely and leave a good amount of material on top and this hat fits the bill. I love the color options and am pleased by how warm it is! The wool material is a must for me as I don't like stinky winter gear. A great hat overall!

I am such a fan of this hat. So much so that after I bought in gray, I had to get red. Then I had to get it in Autumn Leaf. I've put them to use in 12 degree weather. They keep the ol noggin warm, but I don't have to immediately remove it when I go indoors. They breathe well too!

I originally got this beanie purely for the vibrant orange color of autumn leaf which reminds me of golden fall leaves. I was very happy with such nice quality design and quality material as well. This hat is amazing, thick and warm for winter days yet stylish to wear out. It fits a little big if you like that and gives a nice relaxed look.
