This is not a shoe I would use for any extended approaches because of its lack of support, but I love it for short approaches. Rubber sticks to everything and I feel confident scrambling. Lightweight. I would suggest sizing down for a tighter fit.

Very comfortable and durable. I wish they were a little more study for hiking however they are very comfortable for quick hikes and nice enough to wear to work if you are on your feet all day. I love that they are easy to slip on and off.

I like that this approach shoe is simple, it is not to bulky and a narrower shoe. I like less bulky shoes and this is perfect. You can slip on the shoe easily by stepping on the soft heel and walking to a climbing crag that is close or belaying. It is grippy rubber on the bottom, this shoe is best for the shorter approaches though.

Okay, so I have to geek out about these shoes for a second because they are awesome. My boyfriend is a climber and got me into bouldering. He showed up to our first date in these shoes (but the men's version) and I was intrigued by them. Turns out we are both huge gear junkies. I found myself getting increasingly jealous over these darn shoes so I finally got myself a pair and man have I worn them out. Here's what I love about them: 1.) They are super light-weight. I can run, climb, hike, walk around town... whatever. They aren't combersome at all. 2.) The soles are insanely grippy. I stick to tile, wood, concrete, dirt, rocks... they out perform some of my hiking shoes. 3.) The foldable heel is a super neat feature. When bouldering, it's easy to slip them on like hiking slippers to walk to the next problem. 4.) The design is nice enough to wear for everyday life. They doesn't look out of place and I get compliments on them everywhere I go. 5.) The split tongue is interesting and it makes it all the more comfortable on the top of your foot. 6.) The rubber above the toe is awesome. 7.) These can get totally beaten up and still perform just as good. My boyfriend has a pair he wore for almost two years straight and he still slips them on even though I just bought him a new pair. I'm not quite an Evolv fan when it comes to climbing shoes, but these sneakers are awesome and one of a kind. Buy a pair.... seriously...

I really love these shoes, I initially purchased them for work, but I wear them all the time. They're great for day hikes and walking in the open space around my house. I got caught in the rain coming down from Jurassic Park above Lily Lake and they were super grippy, I wasn't worried about slipping at all. While the grip is great outside be prepared that if you are walking on a surface like tile or wood it will feel and sound like you have gum on the bottom of your shoes (especially when wet). My one issue with them is they are not easy on and off shoes, which makes it difficult when moving from climb to climb in the same vicinity.

I sized these on the smaller end so I could slide them on like slippers in between climbs or while I'm belaying. They work great, the rubber is fantastic- never worried about traction. Great shoes to wear for a short/dry hike in, and even still they're comfortable and pretty water repellant if you decide to lace up and wear them for a 30min approach. I'd totally buy these in multiple colors, love this product.
