That may be the most positive thing I have to say about this knife, seems to hold its edge well. It is incredibly awkward to open with two hands and next to impossible with one, and closing it is just as tough without putting your fingers in danger. For me, this has become a camp knife at best, and is usually something I keep kicking around in my car as a spare.

I returned this and never used it. The grip on the handle is a little awkward. With the cutout on the handle (for you to access the blade) it just makes it really weird to hold when the blade is out for use. I instead opted for the Petzl Spatha for a my climbing knife . It was a few extra bucks but its also a tiny bit lighter. Plus it feels nice in the hand.
