My first Eagle Creek bag after seeing other seasoned travelers I respect favoring EC's gear. The bag is sturdy and so spacious it's easy to overload (I had trouble keeping it to 50 lbs / 23 kg). Great features like the jacket bungees and strap for smaller bags. I've only used it on one trip, but that trip was one month long and involved walking from airport to train station to subway to lodging (up 4 flights of stairs) and back. I felt it was quite manageable considering how much weight I put in it. But quality control: the collapsing handle can slip off of its stops, so if you're pushing the luggage by the handle or resting your arm on the handle it can fall into the luggage. Also, one of the stitches next to a handle has already broken; I have yet to see how much that will spread or if it will remain isolated and not affect the use of the luggage.
