Dakine filters out bad reviews on the Dakine website. I bought this bag for my brother in law for Christmas. He flew home with it, and on the bag's maiden voyage (SFO-Seattle) it ripped. Huge rip on the seem. I posted the same review shortly thereafter, and it was pulled own. I asked for the bag to be replaced and received a discount on my next purchase. I appreciated the discount, but the bag was a week old. I've bought boarding bags, bed liners, gloves, mountain bike pads, biking/boarding gloves, etc. and what really sucks that I won't buy another product from this company again. Scraping your site for legitimately bad reviews is dishonest. You'll find the review on some of your top web retailers' websites. Bummed. It would have been cheaper to keep me as a customer.

Used this on a trip to Canada recently and was able to fit 3 pairs of skis plus some clothing with room to spare. I was even able to squeeze in a pair of 194cm slid into the 190 bag but it was a tight fit. Highly recommend this for someone not wanting to break the bank but needing something of good quality

I used this roller bag 3 times before I noticed a small tear from the inner liner to the outer fabric. Backcountry refused to issue a warranty claim saying it was airline damage. However there is no evidence of airline damage. It simply looks like a manufacturing defect. Backcountry lacks customer service skills. They used to have an excellent warranty/exchange policy. I don't suggest this roller bag or purchasing gear through Backcountry.

Have taken this bag on a few domestic and international trips, I'd say I've put it through the wringer. Pros: - Pretty enormous bag. Comfortably fits two pairs of skis and poles with other ski goodies, uncomfortably fits two pairs of skis, poles, one pair of boots, a pair of winter Bog boots, a helmet, gloves, beacon/shovel/probe. It has a removable "ski boot bag" that is essentially a removable liner on the inside. It also has a decent "small" pocket for all small items - lip balm, sunscreen, leatherman, etc. - Rollers. Dont pretend your non-roller ski bag is even close to as good, they're bulky and awkward. - Tough material, but no, it is not a waterproof bag. Designed for travel, not really to and from the mountain. - Price point is pretty decent. Cons: - The handle sucks. It has a velcro piece that allows you to "adjust" how big it is, in reality its just something that digs into your hand. The fact that theres a slight amount of room between (most) end of skis and the bag means theres a hang in the bag that amplifies the handle issue. Should have been a plastic/rubber round handle and would be have been fine. All in all, pretty solid ski bag for traveling!

This bag has the perfect amount of space and padding to fit all of my gear and protect it. I’m going heli skiing in a few weeks and can’t wait to use it.

For the price you can't beat this bag. It has all the features you need (wheels, extra room for storing layers, boots, other ski gear) and has plenty of padding to keep it all safe and protected, even through rough airport handling.

Bought this bag for my son to use on trips and from college dorm to mountain. It is a well built sturdy bag, solid wheels with massive space for all you need & wear on the slopes. However, there is no divider should your skis be wet/have snow on them, divider recommended to keep clothing dry and dirt free. Perfect for getting your dry goods to the mountain in one bag and could definitely pull or carry with one arm.

This bag has so much space. You could probably fit two pairs of skis in their and put some clothes in their if you're a really good packer and want to avoid being charged for two bags. The wheels make transporting the skis so easy. One of my new favs!

This ski bag is like a black hole.... and rugged to boot. I have the 175cm bag and find I can fit even my 180cm xc skis into it without problems. The wheels are sturdy as heck! Overall, this beast will keep your goods safe. And the price is super reasonable as well.

Schlepped my skis, boots, and touring gear to New Zealand for glacier ski touring with this bag and it all came through without a scratch. Handles and rollers made getting around airports super easy. Love the internal boot bag.

This bag is a tank, i got the 190 cm for my skis, which are generally in the 185 range plus or minus a few CM. Unlike my snowboard bag, this bag has boot storage so i don't necessarily need to go much longer than my skis. With full padding, and rollers this bag is a great addition for stuffing a ton of your winter gear if you plan on traveling by air. Plus the price point at 140 is actually pretty sweet since it has all these great features. Looking forward to the ease of use for not only myself but also my family for ski trips
