Got it for my nephew, and he loved it.

I purposely bought from Backcountry instead of Columbia because I wanted the lime green/bright blue coat. Instead I got the lime green/black coat shown on Columbia's website. My son loses his coat a lot, so I wanted the bright blue/lime combo to differentiate his coat from other kids. The coat is fine, just not the color that I wanted.

Our boy is tall and skinny. The Columbia Snowslope II bibs & the Columbia Watertight jacket fit him great. He stays warm, but not sweaty, in the bibs. The jacket is just a shell and fits over insulation layers well. It definitely keeps him dry as advertised, and he has not complained about the wind. If anything, he unzips it some on warmer days

Got this for my son in red (school colors). Really like this jacket - just hope he wears it! True to size.

Got this for my son, and it's a great light jacket. Keeps him dry without being bulky.

Got this for our little one heading back to school this fall. He's 5 yrs old and wears a size 5 typically. Ordered an XS but it's actually equivalent to a 6-7, so he's swimming in it a bit. Definitely keeping though because the quality and color (orangish/red) is awesome. He'll grow into eventually, maybe in the Spring!
