I grabbed myself one of these when they were on sale a few weeks back, because I already had one that was a gift purchased for me at a retail store earlier this year and I wanted another one. I really really love these shirts for fishing, the hood and built in gator are worth their weight in gold when it comes to keeping you from getting sun fried from being out on the lake all day. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't mind fishing sun up to sun down so the shirt's ability to keep me cool and protected from the sun all day is truely amazing! The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because for some reason the shirt I purchased from Backcountry, even though it's the exact same shirt and exact same size as the one purchased from a retail store, has shorter sleeves. It's not the worst thing in the world, but I really enjoy using the thumb holes in the sleeves to keep the sun off of the back if my hands and with the shorter sleeves it's makes the fabric cut into the crease of my hand a bit and I'm afraid I'm going to rip the thumb holes. If you don't have monkey arms like me, as my girlfriend calls them, probably not an issue. Just a heads up on something I experienced as a difference between what I got in a retail store and what I got from Backcountry, but definitely don't let it detract from how awesome this shirt is for fishing! I've put that it runs small because of the shorter sleeves, but it fits great everywhere else, a little baggy even over what I'd say a regular XL shirt does.
