This jacket is lightweight fleece, soft to the touch but will definitely hold in warmth. Will work great alone on the not so cold days and great for layering under a heavy jacket when needed. Highly recommend as a all around every day jacket in spring/fall as well.

Bought this item to replace an older Columbia fleece that was beginning to show some wear and foolishly assumed that it would be cut the same. It isn't. This medium had sleeves that were too long for me and the fleece length is longer as well, the body is slimmer than the older cut as well. If you're 6' or more and trim, this might fit well. Not so for me. Otherwise, the fleece is OK for this price point.

I bought this for my dad, he's 73 and wanted a fleece to 'kick back and do some chores in.' It came today and he's stoked, Mom even asked me to get her one too. The material is thickish, light and soft. Good zippers and not weighted down with extra pockets he won't use. He likes the elastic on the cuffs so it wont slide over his hands and the torso is cut favorably enough to fit around his grandpa bod. I had one of these that lasted years, good to see that the basic fleece still lives!

This jacket fulfills its function, the fabric seems to be a bit old, but it's good for its price, it helps keep you warm and comfortable, its fit is a little big but it's okay

I liked the price (around $25) but ended up returning it. The fit was not flattering at all - bunched up around the belly (the drawstring at the waist didn't help) and the large armhole gave it a billowy effect on the upper arm. Also, the material felt thinner than most other fleece tops. I got a North Face Canyonlands fleece instead - better fit, sturdier build, worth the extra $30 or so I ended up spending.

Bought this as a Christmas gift and have been told that it is incredibly warm and great for layering, but not overly bulky. Runs a little large but it washes well and doesnt seem to pill like a lot of fleeces can do. Great colors!

Large was a too big on me, so only have worn it a few times. I usually wear medium, bet if I got a smaller size it would fit perfectly. But from what I can tell, its super warm. Perfect for layering, as its thin but still holds heat, and I love the zipper pockets. It'll keep you warm.

I gave this as an Xmas gift, and it was really liked. He said it was warm and a good mid layer under jackets, and comfortable enough for indoor use. It did feel like a thinner fleece to me, and it doesn't have extra features (wind resistance, vents, etc.), but considering the value if you want a mid layer or lighter fleece it's worth it.
