Ive had a ton of burton jackets (and just jackets in general) and this one is not even close to being warm enough. I am so much warmer in my insulator and shell than I am in this jacket with substantial layers. I wouldnt recommend for anyone who is looking for something to keep them warm, it feels more like shell weight to me in midwinter. I will stick with my insulator and shell combo or the flare down. If you run hot, it might work for you.

Review from Keri Schneider: I have an older down-filled version of this jacket that’s having some zipper issues, so I was hoping to update. The new version still fits great and looks great, and I like the extra pocket on the inside, but it’s just not as insulated as I’d like.

The jacket is very warm and water resistant. Looks stylish and has everything you need in a jacket.

I was quick to purchase this jacket for the season, because I felt it was a no-brainer. I absolutely LOVE the Tea Camo/Forest night colorway of this jacket! The fit is very flattering, while also being insulated and equipped with the performance of Gore-Tex. I have full confidence of staying warm, dry and looking fresh on the mountain this year with this jacket!
