Nice draws hold rope biner firmly. The top of the draw is pretty wide and not compatible with bolt end biners like dmm shield that have narrow elbows with a tight bend.

The old ones still had some life in them, maybe?

Why buy new quickdraws if you don't have to? Think your caribiners can last a couple more years, but your feeling unsure about your dogbones? REPLACE THEM!

I climbed on a buddies Black Diamond quickdraws that had these dogbones and loved the stiffness and lack of twisting. So I picked up a bunch of the 12cms and a couple 18cm's to swap my draws over to.

I picked up a bunch of these to replace the dogbones on my girlfriends quickdraws (nylon dogbones more than 6 years old!!!). They did the job, and were easy to swap out. Nice, burly material that's easy to grab onto when you need to. Pick some up!
