George Costanza famously said that, if it were socialy acceptable, he would drape himself in velvet. That was in the mid-90s and garment technology has come a long way. I can say with confidence that today, George would opt for a fine merino wool baselayer like this. Social acceptance is nice, but these baselayers are even nicer.
