Fit great the first time, then all of sudden I had a saggy crotch. Tried to pull them up and that did help. Hike for a bit, pull them up, hike for a bit, pull them up. Poorly made, would not recommend. Especially at $60.

I wanted to love these leggings. They feel wonderful and have great function with the pockets, but they are *not* built for every body type. For reference, I'm 5'7" and 120lbs. I own many pairs of leggings from all different brands, but NEVER have I experienced such horrible fit issues as with these leggings. The crotch sags down immediately after any movement. If I were to keep them on for 30 minutes, they'd drop at least 2 inches below my crotch. I have no doubt that if I spent an afternoon in these and didn't constantly pull them up, the waistband would be below my underwear. An additional issue (but not dealbreaker) is that the ankle seams are extremely tight, so you have to be very careful and strain a little to make sure you don't tear them when putting them on/off. I'm so disappointed in this whole experience because when I tried to return the item, I was denied (them citing that it's a me problem rather than a construction problem). I even sent a picture showing how poorly they fit, but was told by backcountry that the reason they don't fit me is because my torso is too short and I don't have big enough hips. So I hope this review is a warning to anyone who has a similar body type as mine: these leggings will not work for you if you have a narrow build.

I am a hot yoga practicer, and I am always looking for excellent quality tights. I have found a new favorite in the Green Mountain Tight. These are excellent because the fabric is moisture-wicking and breathable! I can be in a hot yoga room full to the brim and still feel comfortable in my tights. They are high rise hitting above my belly button which feels supportive and keeps my belly tight! I wear a 4 or S in most pant styles, and I bought an S in this tight as well! I have taken these on a number of hikes. I love the pocket features and stylish look they give me on the trail. I would actually be concerned sitting on rough rocks and pulling the fabric. They are also comfortable enough to lounge in also!

These are one of my most favorite pair of leggings I own! Why you ask? Because these are one of the most versatile leggings I own. Not all leggings are squat proof for the gym! Not all leggings are durable enough to handle dirt, trees, and being scraped along slick rock-while hiking! Not all leggings are made with a breathable material to keep you dry while running! Not all leggings contour the booty well enough to be in public in! Dress up, dress down! These leggings do it all. Rated a 4/5 star due to not having enough color options. I'm trying to own every color of these Backcountry! That way I don't have to wash the one pair so often!
