Durable and Grippy TPU Palm Reinforcements for Enhanced Performance

The TPU palm reinforcements in the Arc'teryx Venta Gloves provide a durable and grippy surface that can help you perform in a variety of outdoor activities. The TPU material offers a high level of abrasion resistance, which helps to prevent the gloves from wearing out quickly, making them a reliable option for long-term use. The grippy surface on the palm can help you maintain a firm grip on equipment or tools, making them an excellent choice for activities that require you to hold onto objects. This feature can be particularly useful when dealing with snowshoes, ski poles, or ice axes.

Make sure it's 10 degrees Celsius or higher to feel comfortable. Otherwise, the gloves seem to absorb chills easily when biking in cold weather even if it is not snowing yet.

I've had these for over a year and use them a lot. Please note: I have very bad circulation in my fingers so keep that in mind. -Fit: EXTREMELY snug. I followed the measurements on the Arc'teryx website and ordered a Large. They are very snug. However, the more you use them, they will stretch a little. -Cuff: because they are snug and they don't want the wind to get in around your wrist, the cuff is very snug. What I found is that if I was careful and put them on slowly I didn't tear the fabric. After a few uses the fabric expanded a little and now they make a good fit. -Warmth: the fleece is extremely thin. Much thinner than I thought it would be. I have found that they are great at blocking the wind. I love them on days when temps are about 50 degrees or above with the sun out (I have a black pair) and I'm walking the dog. If I'm running they are good to about 30 degrees -Dexterity: because they don't have much insulation they are VERY easy to do things in. I rarely ever take them off to do anything. Overall, these are a good glove for their purpose. If you want a warm glove on a really cold day these aren't the glove. However, if you want a good windproof glove with high dexterity on cool days, you can't go wrong with these.

This review may not be entirely fair because I should’ve returned them when I first got them; the trim around the base of the left glove tore off about the third time I wore the gloves, so I put them aside to return them - and forgot where I put them. So now it’s too late to return them. I can tell you the gloves must run small, and the fabric trim around the base of the gloves didn’t hold up at all, fell apart the first week I had them. I think they run really small... Buy Arcteryx, maybe even buy these gloves if you have very small hands and treat your gear delicately. But this is the first of their products that has disappointed me.

Light weight, slightly insulated, breathable, and weather resistant. Perfect for the days of climbing in the snow when it’s hot, but you need that little layer to keep your fingers protected and warm. Great dexterity with these gloves.

I have been using these frequently this past winter. Mostly as a means to keep the fingers warm during winter walks. Gloves are lightweight and rain resistant. Will use them for Sierra backpacking this summer. Quality is good. Very happy with purchase.

I bought these for my dad for Christmas and this is what he had to say: "These are my favorite go-to gloves. Whether I'm shoveling the driveway, out snowshoeing, or its a warmer day up skiing, these are perfect. They also fit great and are made from high-quality materials. I would recommend these to anyone."

i measured my hand and bought a medium. I didn’t realize it was unisex so maybe that makes a difference. Not only too long, but did not form to fingers (not sure a small would have fixed this)

A really good fit. They are super lightweight without a closure at the wrist so they’re super comfertable. For how minimal they seem, they have the warmth you would need for that chilly air, a must have!

I've been thrilled with these so far. They allow for dexterity and touch screen precision without sacrificing comfort and warmth on chilly days. They've proven very durable following some falls/stabilizing on unforgiving trails. Well worth the money!
