Suiting up with the Arc’teryx Trino SL Tight makes it much easier to see the perfect run. The GORE-TEX and Teslin composite fabrics combine to promote high-performance running in the cold of winter. As you set off early in the morning while the fog is still low and the plants are still heavy with dew, the wind-resistant, front-face Gore-Tex keeps the legs warm and ready to train. Deeper into the trails as you settle into your stride, excess heat vents out the rear of the Trino SL’s Teslin calf panel. Near the top of the mountain, the gusseted crotch and articulated patterning provide maximum mobility as you leap boulder to boulder and hit the finishing kicker to the summit. Two hip pockets are still holding your favorite snacks, so take in the views while you refuel before heading for home.

Only have gotten to use them one time so far but my initial experience was that they were well made and highly effective. Initial use was on a 6 mile trail run with temperatures in the upper 40s. Legs stayed warm and dry through out the run. When the trail got narrow with bushes containing thorns, the pants came out undamaged. Looking forward to using them more this season. Side note: The pockets on the side are large enough to securely hold an iPhone XS.
