From early morning approaches to extra insulation during an autumn hike, the Men's Arc'teryx Cerium SL Vest provides exactly what you need and not an inch more. The Cerium SL owes its modifier, super light, to a combination of high-loft down and premium lightweight Arato 7 face fabric, with even the diminished zippers offering barely-there minimalism. While the European grey goose down keeps your core warm as you belay, synthetic Coreloft is placed at the shoulders in case the weather turns, and an additional DWR finish helps protect the down from light showers. Once the day warms up, this incredibly compressible vest packs down easily into the provided stuff sack where you can clip it to your harness until the next time you need it.

I bought this as a gift for my brother and he loves it. He is a big golfer and it allows him full range of motion but keeps him warm on cool days.

this is pretty much exactly what you would think when you buy Arc'teryx--its pricey, but its well made and really, really good. I've worn it as a layer underneath a shell when skiing and its very warm. I've also used it as an outerwear piece--although the drawback there is that there are no pockets for hands, keys, $$. It has a small pocket on the front over the heart (Napolean) which is helpful, but if you put anything bulkier than some money there, it gets bulky. If it had zippered pockets on the sides it would be perfect. It does run a bit small. I'm 6'4, 190 lbs, and it is a tailored fit for me.

This super lightweight athletic cut vest is the perfect layering piece given its efficient, minimalist styling. I've worn it a ton this winter and it's held up great. Works and looks great as outerwear too. 38" chest, 5'7" and 150 lbs, and a medium was spot on.

This vest is exactly what i was looking for. I am 6'1 175 with a 42 inch chest and this vest fits me perfectly. I can barely tell im wearing anything over my base layer but i am much warmer. There is so little material that the vest is almost instantly warm when i put it on. I love the simplicity and the solitary napoleon pocket. The construction is flawless. Packed size shown in picture. I'm guessing this is a 1L stuff sack.
