Use this as a base layer for skiing in the northeast. It's comfortable against the skin and adds a good amount of warmth when used with a fleece/shell on warmer days or a puffy/shell on colder days. I really like the thumb loops to keep the sleeves from sliding up when layering up. Fits true to size. I'm 5' 10" 180 lbs and the medium fits perfect.
