She bought these for light days when an Airblaster suit is too heavy under ski gear. Paid attention to the reviews and bought a M instead of typical S, it fits just right. Whisper thin but it will be that extra layer of warmth when needed. Quality is nice for the price.

Bought these for snowboarding but was sadly disappointed in the quality and overall fit of this product and would not by again-nor would i recommend this brand.

I typically wear a size 2-4 depending on brand. I bought these in a size small and could barely get them over my thighs. Once I did, the waist was so large that it sagged down in the back every time I flexed my knees or hips. Basically, if you ski often and have muscles giving you anything more than concave thighs or you have the slightest hint of glutes, you will be sorely disappointed and unable to get into an athletic stance comfortably. To top it off, I can’t return because my attempt to put them on, thinking the material might stretch somewhat, resulted in the thin, brittle material of the gusseted crotch ripping. Pretty dissatisfying.

They don't have much stretch and are quite thin. They get the job done at a great price!

Love the calf length base layer. Sometimes they slide up, but overall pretty good.

My husband ordered these for me for a gift as I have an older pair of Stoic Calf Length merino bottoms. I love this length as I do not like anything extra in my boot. I don't know what happened, but the fit and material are totally different! I am 5'1" and about 115 lbs with thick legs and I could hardly get the size small over my thighs. The material is kind of stiff and not at all stretchy like my old pair. There is also a gusset in the crotch, which I think is a good innovation, but was really uncomfortable the way they fit me. I contemplated exchanging for a larger size, but I think that I'll just return them. They might fit someone with much skinnier legs than me. I"m super disappointed and hope they can change back to the old merino material.

I love wearing these when I'm skiing. They provide the perfect warmth under my ski pants and do not feel extra bulky when wearing my ski boots.

The material of this baselayer is subpar and the fit is horrible. The material is quite thin and is not soft like many other merino products. I can't imagine they're that warm. They don't really stretch which leads me to believe that they will lose their elasticity after a few wears. They fit very small. I usually wear an XS in Patagonia base layers and I couldn't get these in an extra small over my thighs. If you're going to make a product for skiers, you should base the fit on a skier's body. Baselayers are some of your most essential pieces of gear, look elsewhere for a quality product.

I bought these for my wife... she is 5'4". The medium barely covered her knee so we returned them.

I got these for my roommate and she is in love with them. She was looking for a 3/4 length wool base layer so she could get rid of bouncing around the boot and these check all the boxes.

Super great to see this option and it will work better for others than it did for me. These are quite narrow in the thighs and do not stretch like other merino bottoms. If they had more stretch, they would have worked better for me. They also seem extra short. They stopped just below the knee, rather than mid-calf. I am only 5'5" and tried on the XL so I would expect them be longer by that token alone. On the upside, way less pant to get in the way of your boots, especially if you have extra tall socks, or want something for spring.
